What if they did a frag fusion where all events started at the same time and lasted 2 weeks. You can do all the events in any order and take up to 2 weeks to do them. The events would have to change a bit to accommodate the format but I think it would work and be really fun. You could use all your resources to knock it out day 1 then take a break or jump in any time in that period and play catch up. I'll bet it would even encourage spending just to be done with it early.

My clan is currently winning the clash with 230 billion, the other clans are 195 billion, 150, 125, and 76 billion. Thing is, our score is due to ONE Trunday NM key that I put in, worth 195 billion. Yes, 195 BILLION. On ONE key. We would be dead last in this if it weren't for that key and now we're winning. Trunda is broken beyond belief.

Absolutely no way wixwell should ever be nerfed. They hyped him up, let us vote on his skills to get us invested in him as a champ. (The only champ in the game we had any say in) . Then we spent money and did the grind of a difficult fusion. We spend and grind to build him. We spend and grind to build teams around him for months now. They have collected millions by now from players who did the initial fusion and players trying to get him from summoning events etc. Just taking in the money with event after event because he’s a really desirable champ to have. If they nerf him now , it’s no different than a classic rug pull scam. If it were crypto currency and a company did that it would be criminal fraud. He’s the one champ in the game they should never touch. Wixwell isn’t the problem, he isn’t the one doing the ridiculous damage. All he does is allow a team to hit the turn limit in demon lord. And double yumeko /Trunda teams can do 10 times as much damage as the strongest wixwell teams. People who support a nerf to wixwell…what planet do you live on? Would you be ok with being sold a really nice car and then many months later the company remotely turns it into a beat up honda ? A wixwell nerf at this point would be fraud. Yes it’s only a video game but it’s no different than a rug pull scam. They wouldn’t be giving the millions of dollars back to the people… they wouldn’t even give back the books, chickens and energy etc it took to build him.

100% agree with the "Full Attention Grind" statement. I was in the exact same mindset even before this current fusion was announced. No matter how good this champ is, I'm taking a break from the grind. I was on work travel during the Thor Titan Event and was only able to manage the 4-Star Soul, because that's what I could get without grinding like crazy after work at night. Side note: A Thor that's not even geared all that great, no books, no masteries, can easily farm 12-6 Nightmare lol

The main problem is that no one asked for Hydra Clash. It's a terrible mode and now assessable (Guaranteed, Fusion, Epic and Rare's) champions are being nerfed left and right ruining them in other modes to save the "integrity" of Hydra Clash. We all know the real reason they do this is to sell you shards for those champions they will never nerf.

I agree with HH. The problem is really Hydra Clash. Without Hydra Clash there is no point in these huge numbers, you just have to 1 key. Personally I don't see the point in any PvP elements in a P2W game, but let's be honest that is what drives the money spent metric. There are just too many champions and champion combinations in Raid to really balance everything. And let's be honest they are not the most skilled game development team when it comes to game mechanic design and implementation. That's just the reality of the situation and their release history proves it.

We all know why Wixwell teams will get nerfed while other similar (or in the case of Trunda far more busted) teams are untouched. Wixwell+Yannica is performing at a similar level to other top teams with multiple mythical or void legendary champions. By comparison it is essentially a free team. Nothing makes whales feel dumb for spending on chasing these expensive team comps like budget options getting similar results.

No need to change Wixwell. Best fix is just cap hydra clash points- not damage. Let people do 50 billion damage on NM to show off and set records but cap at 1 billion clash points per key and add tie breakers for clash placement. Easy.

Listen, before I watch I just want to say this. I'm in the minority, because I actually am NOT burned out by RSL right now. What's my secret? I've taken a JGigs approach to RSL. If I want to do something in the game (go for a fusion, go for a 5 star soul after said fusion so basically do 2 fusions in a row, etc.), I do it. If I don't want to (even if EVERYONE else is doing it) I don't do it. Sounds simple but it was very hard at first, actually. I'm sitting pretty on a ton of resources for the next in-game event I want to take part in. But that means I skipped out on Thor, his 5 Star Soul, and this current fusion (even though it's an easier fragment event). So that's my advice haha. Edited to say: Having said all of that that (sorry so wordy), I do feel an intense PLARIUM fatigue. I'm pretty sick of their shit. I hope HH's Fateless game is a hit, I really would love to stop playing all together but I feel like something would be missing if I left RSL. IDK. That's my (early) two cents.

Heres my idea, change the Hydra. 1) If a nightmare HT is doing a lot more than 95 - 100% of players then allow the boss to unlock another power lvl. 2) After a specific damage point, Increase digest frequency, speed, and if you save your champ the champ has a permeant stat reduction ie depending on the head, maybe a 30% reduction ihp, atk, speed, ect

the problem with what you're suggesting is the flexibility of changes in RAID i.e (Masteries, Artifacts, Accesories, Awakening) cost a lot! if the Team is working its best not to touch it, i blame that on raid! we have a small option for changes

I came back to RAID about a week after Wixwell ended. I don't have a real dog in this race. Before I get into the video....sometimes nerfs are required for the health of a game. Trust me, I hate them like most players.... However, this isn't a MMO where an imbalance affects other players enjoyment of the game. If the only real impact is on Hydra Clash...fix the way points / rewards for it are distributed (or all together rework it) and move on. Don't fundamentally change the way a champ works after 6 months of sitting on your thumb (Plarium). Feel free to negate Wixwell and similar champs in future content... Just don't mess with 6 months of player testing on old/current content that doesn't matter. I struggle on Hard Hydra CB sometimes, oh well... I've gotten stronger and better, incorporated new champs....but I'm lucky to put up 40 M points in Hard with a single key. I don't care if someone is doing 10 billion with Wixwell comp. Another thing to keep in mind, if they nerf shield growth (Wixwell effectively) for Hydra and or old CB, they not only need to compensate chickens, books and gems for masteries on Wixwell, but also for other champs someone needed to 6 star and book/mastery for their teams.

I compare this game to Summoners war a lot because it's the game I played the longest and actually just got back into after not playing for about 5 years. Their events are "fun" they are general events that benefit you doing things you'd usually do, and they are meant to be relatively easy to complete. Run dungeons 10 times a day, do arena 5 times a day, etc. and you get good rewards out of it. and while there is some power creep they added second awakening to the equivalent of rare heroes in raid. This gave a reason to farm up old monsters that weren't used as much instead of Raid added a new level on top in mythical. The general power level is less exponential than Raid. Yes the general power level is higher (partially just due to years of getting incremental increases in rune stats from running thousands and thousands of runs, but there's no well we used to struggle for millions of damage in clan boss and now we are doing 150 billion. Once you have that level of difference you are distancing everything from what is optimal.

HH seemed ok with a Wixwell nerf. I totally disagree with that. The only reason to nerf Wixwell is to cater to the whales that drop thousands for the Hydra clash. I'm sure Plarium also doesn't like that average players can now get resources from Demon Lord. Seemed to me like HH was kissing up to Plarium. Wixwell was a community champion that helped average players. To nerf him showes how much Plarium does not care about their player base. I have seen HH get more out of touch as he spends more time on his new game.

You're absolutely right: their concern is not the "integrity of the game"; it's that PvP is pay to win, and some people, as you say, haven't paid the proper entry fee. Wixwell makes teams of less expensive Champions much more competitive with teams for which people have spent thousands of dollars. THAT will not stand. And I'm guessing that Trunda-based teams are very popular with the whales, and that's the reason she hasn't drawn the same nerf hammer from Plarium that Wixwell apparently is. When you're looking for a reason as to why Plarium does something, you never have to search for anything more complicated than, "Does this serve Plarium's greed?" If not, it will be addressed! You're also right that it is a weird point of view to take that you don't "have" to participate in RAID's events. Of course that's true. But you'd think you're playing the game for the express purpose of pulling Champions and assembling teams to *play the game's content.* I say this despite the fact that I am refusing to do any fusions until I hit a certain threshold of resources--and I am still months away from having the shards I need to do a fusion. So I am letting all these events pass me by while I build up my resources and work on upgrading my existing Champions. I am, in the words of at least one content creator, playing WAIT: Shadow Legends. But we all know why: it's because I am not PAYING to take short cuts in acquiring shards and other resources. I am letting the game come to me, and that is, as JGigs noted earlier in the video, a very different game than the one the pay-to-win players are playing. But that is the choice: resign yourself to playing very casually if you're not willing to get out the credit card, or keep spending to compete with the whales and krakens. There isn't much middle ground.

Exactly right, if you are willing to dump $2k+ on a champ, Plarium is perfectly fine with it being OP. However, if there is a champ everyone has access to, with just spending in game resources (i.e. doing a fusion, rare champ, etc.), that is completely out of bounds.

PLARIUM PICKED THE SKILLS WE COULD CHOOSE... the community has no fault on it... if anything this just proves how incompetent they are at either understanding their own game or don't really give a shit about the balance.... 21:58... i can point out to you when this fatigue started... "call of the arbiter"... it introduced gnut fusion... it was not even a week after a fusion... then since they wanted to keep the pace they already had cause my guess is that gnut wasn't considered a "fusion" per se cause it was more for a promotion for the show... then they added the soul events for the fusions... that's the moment this train just started and hasn't stopped at all... 31:30... i have done at least 90% of plarium schedule as f2p... i have skipped on some star for souls like the panda for example... but i can tell you the reason thor+titan+fusion feels so cramped together it's because halloween... normally we have a week or 10 days between titan and the next fusion... but since halloween is coming and we in the middle of asgard divide super event... all of this feels really cramped together... i can tell you something for sure thou... this is gonna happen again in 2 months when christmas is around the corner... =)!... the people that didn't took a break right now for this particular fusion are probably gonna quit near christmas...

They can easily nerf the Wixwell comp for hydra by putting a cap on the shield the hydra can have not your champs. So when it steals your billion health shield it goes down to the cap the hydra can have. Then yannica would not do anywhere near the dmg. This would solve the hydra comp and not really affect wixwell himself at all.

I just say do a damage cap per hit or per skill on Hydra, and then readjust the necessary point totals to claim chests. If they're really only interested in balancing Hydra, that would be the best way. But you're right: leave Demon Lord alone.

Easy fix. If it's hydra they are worried about. Just put a cap on single damage on hydra heads viz. Cannot exceed 1m damage in one turn or something done, doesn't bother normal clan boss etc.

Regarding nerfing of champion that are unbalanced in PVP, I think the outrage is mainly because many players won’t accept it if it is done in an affair way. If we look at the whole Hydra clash issue, Wixwell/Yannica teams are only the second-best team but the best one is only scoring about 13% of the damages of the best Trunda/Yumeko team. If everything is rebalanced and Wixwell/Yannica is nerfed, but Trunda/Yumeko is even more affected by the rebalance (and, for example, the Wixwell team score become closer to 50% of the best team score) then, I am fine with the rebalance. What is also problematic for me is when they nerf something so much that it become non-relevant. This is exactly what they did with corpulent cadaver, you can still use the team in hydra and get your reward in 1 key, but the hydra clash score will be so low compared to the investment that it is not worth it anymore.

The words Plarium uses are very specific and they do not say they will not nerf Wixwell. They said they will not nerf Wixwell secretly. They will do something because they only want the Krakens to get these amount of points. Plarium will never change and we know how they are.

The constant uptime eternal grind is definitely intentional on Plarium's part. This is what they were talking about in their shareholder release when they said "Raid is in profit mode now going forward." Everything they do from now on will be the most blatant attempt to rip the last little bit of money out of every possible player using whatever means necessary, mainly fomo. They don't deserve a charitable assumption of good faith in this, because they've never earned it.

Nah, there are almost 1000 champions. Palarium could stand to buff A LOT of those first 2 years champions. IMO start with most of log in champions. They have absolutely been power crept. I don’t think most champions are overpowered, however since the introduction of mythical champions. RSL has seen some of the most OP legendaries to date. Truth be told… they could not release champions for a full year and only buff older epics and legendaries and I think that would go over fine. It’s not that F2P players and new players don’t have champions, it’s that the champs they probably have simply don’t do enough ( unless you get 1-6% lucky. )

the main problem with that is there are so many specific heroes that do very specific things that make certain content possible. once again going to summoners war not only is most content at least doable with even uncommon and rare champs now that second awakening is a thing, but while some 5*s might be better at certain things obviously, but getting 1 very specific champ is not a deal breaker on anything.

100% disagree with your point on nerfs vs buffs. With the power creep with each new champion introduced there’s never a justification for nerfs. And nerfing a fusion is a double no no. Honestly it’s perplexing how people come to this conclusion when Plarium continually moves the stick further and further every chance they get.

I agree there are certain levels of players in the game, some are always gonna be way too OP because their pockets are never empty, then we get lucky and get a chance to hit those big boy numbers and bamm nope Plarium rips any fun from you. It's like being punished for not spending thousands on the game. I'm sorry but 200 dollars should guarantee me a OP legendary champion that's a lot of money just to collect rares.

I will say JGigs, out of all the CC’s that I watch talk about Raid, I feel u speak out more against what they do and why they do it than the others along with Ash. I hope ur genuine when u talk against Plarium because it’s good to have a CC kind of speaking what all the average players that can’t and aren’t going to be whales and krackens have complained about. If I was a betting man I would bet that it’s more about money. It makes no sense for them to nerf a champion that the players voted on and voted for him to have the kit he has. I’m going on a year of playing this game and when I first started there was only 1 fusion or big event a month, I miss those days. They have to many things going on at 1 time for this games to be enjoyable.

Gigsy, this shield cap was not associated with wixwell in the game, or any champion for that matter, as Saph about it, is could this was just a property, or constant rather that could be used for anything related to shields but by anyone, including boss, champions, in any area... so calm down bia...ches :)

One thing I've learned about playing this game in the past 4 years is you never trust plarium!!! And you always expect the worst but hope for the best. And I feel 💯 that they worry more about the players that spend ridiculous amounts of money then the everyday ftp player. Would I be surprised if they nerfed wixwell absolutely not, will they maybe but if they do they should definitely hit trunda too.

Summoner Wars events are a benchmark for me as well. N1 the rewards are great, You get so much out of it that is silly. Second after you finish the main event you can grind extra stuff (Less Value). So the whales are going to finish even the extra stuff but if you play everyday you get half the extra stuff. You do not feel bad cause you missed a bit, You fell like you were rewarded no matter how much or how little you play. SW is going for 10 years now I think all games like this will eventually get to the point they will die, Now saying Sw will die tomorrow, But it is natural that it does. However I do think there is space for SW 2 if they do all new champs and keep up the good things they learned from the 10 years. It is sort of the same thing as why Extraction Shooters (Tarkov) need wipes. I will not, however, play Raid 2 even if they pay me to. I rather throw my cellphone out the window at that point.

Aristocrat have done this same nonsense in the BIG FISH games, Gummy drop which is like Candy Crush used to be a nice time waster, after they bough Big Fish games. GD has become Raid but worse... And what is even more diabolical is that those 3 match type games are mostly directed for younger childern..

I think everything that breaks content should be nerfed. Having things like wixwell, and trunda isnt a "oh its just pve who cares" hydra clash effects other players. If a clan that doesnt have those 2 champs goes against one that does they simply cant win. Its also just really hard for plarium to make new, interesting bosses when champs completely break the boss and hit for billions and billions of dmg.

Plarium's response was carefully worded. "We are not nerfing Wixwell" Which means they are not directly making changes to Wixwell's code. His abilities and stats remain the same. BUT, adding a shield cap to the shield boosting functionality of the game is not a Wixwell nerf.... but it DOES significantly alter his function. The proper answer should have been, 'We are not making any changes to the game that would alter how champs, like Wixwell, generate shields." What they did was the doublespeak you always hear from someone who wants to deny something, but avoid actually denying that thing. "Don't worry, the rent on your apartment is not going up one cent" ... and instead they just build a wall down the middle of your place, splitting it into 2 smaller apartments, and rent out the other half to another person. Yup... they didn't lie. Your rent didn't change.....

If well established champions become a problem in new content like Hydra or in new content which nobeody has asked about like Hydra clash than the problem most likely is not the champion but the design of the new content. If a champion was good for PvE and becomes a problem in new PvP content...it is the problem of the PvP content, not of the champion. It just shows how bad Plarium is at game design and how focused they are only on making money.

Buff can also be good for PVE when you buff champs that are basically in the vault and lots of players can benefit from it :) as of nerfs for pve it can be good only if it breaks the game otherwise BIG NO NO

25:00 Raid give you as much interactable game play as possible.....Pop-up offers to spend money is not gameplay...badges and frames is not gameplay. I do not see that Plarium actually runs into this direction of giving the players gameplay.
