I have absolutely no reason to believe hell is metaphorical from the scriptures. People love to compromise on this issue but our church fathers didn’t. Seems pretty plain to me. Infinitely worse than fire? I’m sure it is. But I bet it includes it based on what I read. Unless I’m given context clues that it is metaphorical I’m going to assume it’s literal.
