I got his book on this topic, and put it on my husband’s night table. He was a college Professor , a biologist, but was not a believer. I don’t know if he read it, out of my presence. I saw no sign of his conversion. He died almost 4 years ago from Covid. He was in the hospital for 2 weeks , and I was not able to see him.. He never came home. I just hope he talked to God while in the hospital. It’s never too late for God. I always remember the thief on the cross, “ Lord remember me”. I cried listening to this sermon.I have been saved since I was a child. Never looked back.

That’s so sad, I’m so sorry for your loss. That must have been a horrible experience for you and him. I’m thankful that you were able to put that book there, and that you have that comfort. I lost a cousin a few years ago to homelessness and drugs, and I was feeling guilty about not sharing more with him and my adult son reminded me of a time I did share the gospel with him and he refused. It was some comfort to me that I had given him truth, and that my Son witnessed it. I hope that your soul is finding healing and comfort in the Lord. You seem very strong, but It takes as long as it takes. ❤

The interesting thing is that prayers work even towards the past. You can STILL pray for your husband's salvation. God knows back then that you are praying now for his salvation to occur back then. It's a wonderful comfort for me, because it gives us true valid hope. God sees the beginning from the end all at once. This thought occured to me one day when I was praying for my father, who hated Jesus. We never know what transpires in another person's mind as they're dying. Please don't lose hope. I will pray for you and your late husband as soon as I hit "send". God Bless you mightily.

Hello All I just wanted to say, not too long ago I said within my heart that if all I did in heaven was forever sing Holy, Holy, Holy... somehow I know that it would be such glory about me that fulfillment would be so overflowing ❣️ And then there's that grace He gives us to go and do, then rewards us, like when I had a bad cold and was not a Happy camper, but rather bad in my attitude. Well what does our good God do but prompts me by His Spirit to get pen and paper and write out the poems He gives me by His Spirit. I wrote those poems all morning and that helpless cold just stood by, frozen, not knowing what to do. None of that was of me...But what does He do next?... He does not allow a cold to come near me for 20 years... Then I knew what amazing grace was. Happy Sunday, everyone!!!

Wonderful! I pray that as many people as possible come to the Truth! The truth is...this life is about preparing for the next place we're going! I am sad and scared for so many people that either don't get it or care! The power of the flesh to do exactly what we want is very strong...but to believe and be willing to turn from doing it our way and to do it Jesus's way is the way..the truth..both are definentions of Jesus Himself! May it become clear and very real to the ones that need saving..In Jesus's Mighty Name! Amen! I look forward to meeting my new brothers and sisters there!

13 But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. 14 For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep. 15 For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord,d that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. a second after you die, you are either in heaven or hell
@msskylark1Ай бұрын
Sorry but that is simply not true. This is one of Satans favourite deceptions. When you die your breath returns to God who gave it and your brain and body shuts down. God said “the dead know not anything”. The Lord has also announced that when He returns to gather his saved, their reward will be with him. If they were already in Heaven he would not need to return to the earth for them?Would He? The dead in Christ will rise first and be taken. The living wicked will then die with the brightness of His coming. The saved will be with God in Heaven for 1000 years. Then the unsaved will be resurrected and God will tell every one of them why they were not saved. Led by Satan they will attempt to overtake the Holy City which will fail. Satan and his evil angels will be thrown into the Lake of Fire along with the lost from the earth. God will create a new Heaven and New Earth where the saved will live forever with God. This story is true, accurate and IS IN THE BIBLE. IF YOUR CHURCH DOESNT TEACH YOU THIS THEN YOU NEED TO FIND A NEW CHURCH THAT DOES. A friend of mine was present in a Baptist Church when a member asked the pastor to teach the Book of Revelation. The pastor declined saying “we don’t teach the Book of Revelation”, offering no reason and quickly changed the subject. I suspect most churches are the same.
@beckystevens35063 күн бұрын
No one is in heaven until the rapture. Jesus says, “The dead know nothing”. Basically after you die your next conscience thought and experience will be seeing Jesus but that doesn’t occur until the Lord raptures us. The only humans in heaven are those that were translated by the Lord in the Bible and they of course are now spiritual entities.

@@msskylark1 with all due respect I think you are overthinking it. We’re not supposed to know everything and understand everything on this side of heaven.
