Yep i played an offensive of el alamein as Germany on defense and it was chaos with an mg42

I was in the U.S. Army's 4th Infantry Division. When you have a short, auto firing submachine gun, you're wasting your bullets firing at enemies that are far away. Let the soldiers with the long rifles shoot at them. If you have a long bolt action rifle, use it to shoot the enemies far away, but when they are closer, switch to your automatic pistol b/c you don't have time to reload each round in the bolt action rifle. You'll kill more enemies that way, and die less. When you see an enemy tank or enemy unit REAL far away, put a "ping" marker on them and call it in to your squad leader.......b/c he can then all it in to the commander......and then the commander can have another squad close to it kill it with their AT soldier, or friendly tank. ......or the commander can call in an air strike, or artillery fire on it. When you're pinned down by a tank or an enemy squad, get behind cover and throw smoke grenades in their direction as far as you can. Wait 15 seconds and then do a WIDE flanking maneuver around them in the direction that has the most cover and/or concealment. Then let your machine gunner and automatic rifleman shoot at the enemy to keep them suppressed from one angle, while your riflemen flank around them even more and fire at them from the side angle of where your machine gunner and automatic rifleman is. Whichever of your team is close enough also needs to be throwing frag grenades in their direction. Once you get them thinned out, your big gunners need to keep providing suppression fire on their location while your riflemen charge their position, using cover as they charge. Once your riflemen are almost on top of their position, the machine gunner and auto rifleman needs to stop firing and charge the enemy's position as well. Two or three guys need to destroy the enemy outpost while the others shoot any enemies that spawn in during the destruction of the outpost. Once all that is done, move towards the next enemy outpost on the map and repeat the above tactics. You can also have one soldier stay at the the HQ area in the rear and fire artillery at the enemy positions you call in to them, and mark with an indicator that shows up on the map.

The game has a poor ballistics design. Most HLL players refuse to acknowledge it. There’s no zeroing, and the feedback system is really poor. You can see he takes multiple shots at long distance and he can’t even gauge how far off the target he is because he has no feedback, there’s no dirt kicking up etc. so he’s just micro adjusting hoping to hit something.

they did not bother to make Afrika uniforms, for none of the 2 factions, the shooting is horrendous, the shooting at 400 meters its like at 100 meters, bullet dynamics - non existent, watching it ruined my friday what a lame at El Alamein game :))))
