FYI, India has the second largest army in the world and the fourth strongest of the world (current statistics, you can look up yourself). Also not only is Indian army no joke, it's highly respected because of one very important reason. It's one thing to have a huge and strong army, let alone having an army and it's an entirely different thing to have army in a country which faces consistent stress on it's borders. Unfortunately India has some highly stressed borders due to invasions and security threats from the neighborhood. So Indian Army is pretty much always fighting and warding off the danger. And this was just the army. India has Navy, Airforce, Coast guard, Paramilitary, special forces etc. And tbh our Paramilitary is also considered one of the finest world (the largest and strongest is actually from India) and one shouldn't forget that while Army is always there to protect, it's actually the Paramilitary personnel which are consistently fighting and standing day and night at most of the borders not exactly army. Army comes in when defense or combat is needed, more often than not, alongside Paramilitary. Unfortunately Paramilitary is never given their due respect and job benefits. That is why I have mad mad respect for not only Indian Army but Indian Paramilitary alongwith all other defense forces of India.

It's republic day parade (26 January) we practice for more than 7 months....i was also a part of republic day parade... it's really a proud moment 🇮🇳 + we have different uniform for Army, Navy and Air force and we have also have different salute for Army, Navy and Air force 🎖️🇮🇳 and all the political leaders were present there including the President and Prime minister of our country 🇮🇳 it is one of the best day🇮🇳🎖️❤️

This event is like a display of our complete ARMY on Republic day. They all salute at an angle because the President is over there, they are paying their respects to him. The tank color differ according to the area they are in, so that they blend in the background and people won’t notice. Also, each costumes are according to the climate, area, and state they come from. For example, Rajasthan has a lot of camels, the commandos fight secretly so, them boys black gang, etc.. You have to watch the whole thing, because this March is the boring part according to us. After the March, there is children performing as a band, dancers, Then a statewide competition where each state decorates a huge truck with a special theme and many more...
