If Spence does this rematch. Crawford will lose some of his speed at 154, but his power is going to be insane. Crawford hand speed and weight when he threw those punches were improved and actually threw some good textbook punches it was scary. Crawford best weight is 147 becuase of the combination of speed and power. Crawford at 154 is going to be more destructive rather than explosive. Spence's prime is 154 so this is going to be insane. I think Spence will need to be an improved version. Crawford's prime is absolutely crazy, and his unrelenting effort to improve as a boxer is commended.

IMO, Spence isn't just there mentally, and he isn't the same, those aren't his normal punches that he was throwing. Spence's punches were wide and dead. Initially I was rooting for Spence, but Bud is a greater fighter by virtue, he actually was holding back his punches, maybe Bud felt that in the first round itself that something was off with Spence's punches and maybe he felt a little bad for punishing Spence in the second half, but hey, this is boxing.

Watching the fight back, something that is very clear is the lack of head movement from Spence. While Crawford is very accurate, its harder to be accurate on a moving target. I also feel as soon as they got close, the ref was immediately pulling them apart. Getting in close is a tactic as much as fighting from the jab is. Dont get me wrong, crawford absolutely gave him a masterclass but some small adjustments in the rematch could result in a closer fight. Not saying spence would win but would be good to give Crawford a different type of test. However, take nothing away from Crawford who was bang on it and gave the performance of his life. Unreal fighter.

I want Spence to do better in the rematch I would even want him to win. But truth be told it just want happen 😢 Spence is one dimensional. Bud would have to have a very off night for Spence to win.

Skill set wise Spence still loses against Crawford!!.... He just got outclassed in all departments and the fight was pretty much one sided! To be honest there is no need for a rematch but Crawford will probably oblige due to honouring the Contract!... Rematch at a Higher weight will give Spence the extra strength due to his size and he will feel more natural. That's the only advantage he has.

Hey, I remember fighters in the past being champions, and getting knocked out cold. Then, they come back the next fight, and get a big win or a devastating knockout!

That was the worse fight of Errol Spence career. I would definitely take a 2 year break after that beatdown.

shid taking breaks was part of the problem.. u can’t not fight at all for 16 months waiting on the best fighter fighting at the moment. them long layoffs gone make u rusty no matter how good u are.

NOTICE Spence said the rematch will be a lot closer. He didn't say he will win the fight. He knows he has nothing for Terrence Crawford, but he wants another big pay day. This is very similar to Tyson's response a few weeks later after losing the first fight to Evander Holyfield.
