I went to Alaska for a whole summer...and i didn't want to leave!!! When ever i went hiking and just literally sat and looked around and listen to nature, it made me love life to the fullest. It felt like a whole new world and even a whole new life. I cant wait to go back.

I visited the exact glacier and walked where you guys walked last winter when my family and I flew to Alaska from New Mexico to see old friends. If you get the chance to go to Europe, you should visit Switzerland. It's gorgeous over there, with mountains everywhere. There is one Kanton where only one kind of house is allowed to build: chalets. Those are wooden houses with mostly decorative woodwork. The Kanton is called Bern and those wooden houses are in the 'Simmental'. You really would love it there!

Cory I just watched this one. I thought you might be interested in this detail. The pins and needles you felt for just a couple of minutes is what I live with everyday. I was injured at work and ended up with a condition known as Complex Regional Pain Syndrome or CRPS for short. Actually the challenge you did was something that we have told people to do to get a tiny feel for the pain we live with every day and it gets worse with pressure changes from the weather. I am not asking for sympathy I am just trying to educate people. A simple injury can totally change your life like it did mine. I am now affected in all 4 limbs but the original injury was to my right hand and shoulder. So please remember to have fun and enjoy your health but to be careful when doing things too. I love the name you had of Mr Safety. Please stay safe. Enjoying seeing Alaska thru these videos.

Wow, I can only imagine how cold that really was! I've heard stories how cold the water can be there... but it looked painful. I had a feeling if you did the challenge, you would do something memorable :). You are right, the first time you went to that spot and recorded in your vlog, I got that epic "Lord of the Rings" feel to the surroundings. Such an incredible place!

California Here I Come.... Right back where I started from... is what most people think. But it is "I Love You, California" - the song from that Jeep commercial. It was written in the teens, and usually is only played when governors take office. State flower is the California Poppy, state bird is the California Quail (whose call sounds like "Chicago! Chicago!). State fossil is the Sabertooth Tiger. State tree is the Giant Sequoia or Redwood.

My dad and I go backpacking annually and last time we went, i forgot exactly where we went, but it was in the sierras and my dad took me to this spot he went to last winter and we hiked up to this beautiful lake that was turquoise from the glaciers melting. It was beautiful... and cold. It hailed while we were there too, it was crazy.
