Only dark horse can do justice in binding for such massive books,their big damn sin city and colossal conan have aweosome eyes and binding.And DC's tactic for double spread is same as that of teen titans wolfman omni I guesd

This one isn’t horrible. Nor was the Masters of the Universe Omni. Granted Dark Horse are the masters of giant books, these aren’t horrible.

Hey Matt, so great to see this video. I got my copy delivered yesterday. I went thru it and it looks amazing. Great binding, great paper. Great cover art. It is an amazing omnibus. I’ve never read Garth Ennis or Hellblazer before. If I like this I’m definitely going to check out the Preacher omnibus later this summer. I’ll let you know my thoughts once read. Thanks again for the content. You guys are keeping us sane.

Haven't read the Garth Ennis run on hellblazer. I heard it good Definitely when you took off that dust jacket it really does show how beautiful the cover

Mine copy is on order from Cheap Graphic Novels. They pack well and it was 35% off, so not a bad discount. Not as good as they usually have, but the 50% off deals may not reappear for a little bit.

Hii Matt l happy at last hellblazer get the omnibus , but why they not start Jamie Delano , issue 1 - 40 . well maybe Next time they make Delano omnibus my favorit hellblazer issue 1 - 215 .

Yeah Delano had some breaks in there so a Delano book wouldn’t cover 1-40. It would be nice for a chronological order, but Ennis is the most popular.

Is this a good entry for Hellblazer? Or is there some required reading beforehand? Preacher is my favourite comic of all time so really want to get into Hellblazer too.

This is a perfectly fine starting place for people. There are a couple callbacks to earlier events, but nothing that would be hard to understand.

DC use black label (not for children). Hellblazer origin start in DC and later Vertigo and later again back only in Dc. And today Vertigo not exist anymore ... that's why no Vertigo logo

I’m aware as I mentioned, I’m just bummed that they didn’t do Vertigo, since that was the label this was originally on. Hellblazer new 52 was not the same adult content as the vertigo days.
