Air GT owner. I really like how your review hits on key points and just doesn't focus on pure power/speed. I also like how you know your product. A lot of reviewers get in and have to figure out what they are doing on their own video. SMH. I'm in Texas, and it gets damn hot here too, I had Lucid install the sun blockers on the roof panels, and I also installed Xpel Ceramic tint, and everything together really makes the heat drop. I also found that in the cooler months the roof shades provide just a bit of insullation value, which is also nice. The AC blowers have been fixed with an OTA update. I used to have that problem and it was very frustrating. No longer an issue for me. I do have to correct you on the range. Yes the Air GT "can" get 516 miles of range, if it has the 19" wheels, and you drive in the most optimal means possible. That said you would never drive it to absolute 0. My Air GT with the 21's gets 470 mile of range but I never push it beyond 450 miles. EV sales have NOT declined going into 2024, they have increased. Pete Buttigieg's report to congress will set you on the right path, read it! Your fear of failure for not buying one is unfounded IMO. Chrysler almost went out of business in the 80's, but that didn't stop people from buying the cars, in fact sales increased under the leadership of Lee Iacocca. I personally love how exclusive my Air GT is in my area. There are only 3 of them in my section of Dallas, and mine turns heads each and every time I take it out. Overall, your video review is one of the best out there, and I watch them all and comment. Don't let your fear make decisions for you. Take Care and good Luck.

Thanks for sharing your experience! And yes in regards to the range it's EPA figures for the most economical setup. If I had this vehicle for longer I'd be able to provide better figures but I'm glad you did that. I'm also glad you are enjoying your sweet futuristic ride and I'll remain open to the idea ;)

I saw on the demo car's display that it had at least one uninstalled update pending. It's important to check any used car to see if the updates have been installed. If it gets too far behind it may be necessary to have a service tech do it for you so it's worth checking.

With the backing of the Saudi PIF they won't be going bust anytime soon. The Lucid Gravity 3 row 7 seater SUV is coming out this year and will be a huge seller as this segment has huge demand especially in the USA.

Great review honestly, and it's one of the best out there. Lucid as a brand is truly a pack leader now to when it comes to innovation and this says a lot about the brand. However, I think the reason you're not buying one might seem reasonable to uninformed buyers but when you follow the brand and the Saudi PIF you'd know that this brand is here to stay. The company sits on a $5bn in liquidity and is backed by the wealthiest fund out there. But say the PIF pulls out, then there are multiple ways to fund such a brand. As someone who follows the PIF I know Lucid is a cornerstone to the Saudi Vision 2030 and they mentioned this multiple times. Finally, they just hit their quarterly record sales and they are launching the marvelous Lucid Gravity SUV in the 4th quarter. That is truly a game changer and will definitely dominate its segment. The "Lucid is broke" meme is well amplified by fans of a certain EV company now moving to Texas, along with people who just generally dislike EVs. Too many journalists repeat the line that EV sales are flopping while it is really just Tesla's sales that are down. Even Ford is up, not as much as they had hoped, but up.

same reason I'm holding back for purchasing one. My take of Lucid is that instead of introducing Gravity, they should develop Model Y like smaller SUV that is more accessible to ordinary ppl. They don't have to follow the same route Tesla did (Model X -> Model Y).

Lucid is a part of the 2030 vision for saudi arabia and beyond. Big things are coming for lucid. In saudi arabia, infrastructure and projects that are being done today. Saudi Arabia won the bid to host the summit in 2030 and also won the bid to host the World Cup in 2034. So also helps them build out their infrastructure Quicker because they're on a deadline. Also other projects And much much more. Lucid is connected to all of that.

Yeah, very interesting. CEO claims they have a better range technology, seems like he is not really lying. They do travel farther than competition. After a few years on the market the build quality is apparently better too. Tech in general is pretty good. High price and sedan body is hurting it a bit. They should have copied Rivian with Truck/ SUV siblings to give it a sales boost, however overall I like it and I wish they survive. Just want more reliable charging infrastructure. Steadily speeds and pricing of that public charging is the key for those EVs to go mainstream

Yes it's definitely a leader in range. The numbers I quoted are EPA so real life will be worse but that's what they all quote so it's still better. There are some things that need adjustments or fixes but overall I thought it was solid. And yes infrastructure has a long way to go. Right now the cars are better than the infrastructure

I'm pretty sure Porsche is the fastest charging car these days ,it charges at around 350kws and stays at 300kw for around 62% . This range is untouchable though

Exactly what does lucid have , i have watched many videos that says lucid is awesome. But no one actually tells what exactly unique about this car. For example when you take bmw 7 series , it has a giant screen in the back for You to watch movies. Same way s class has a chair You can recline almost to sleeping position. Lile that what is so unique about lucid. Everyone keep mentioning smooth ride and massage chairs. Is that it 🤷

Lucid with its Air GT is targeting people who might otherwise buy a high end Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Jaguar, or maybe a Maserati Quattroporte. The base model Air Pure is under $70k and competes with Tesla's base Model S. I leveraged a retail gig into a job that let me drive an Air GT today. You can too.

The Model S Plaid is about 10K more than a Hellcat variant, looks sleek as hell and will do 0-100 in 4 seconds, all while hauling 5 passengers with plenty of cargo space. Not everyone buys an EV to save the planet and no matter what people say, you'll always be able to keep your gas car or buy a new one if you so choose.
