That's cope. Harley Davidsons are built for showboating and really aren't as fast as they should be. The engineers screw with the timing to produce the signature noise which hurts performance. The Harley Davidson is built to look and sound fast, the dodge is built to be fast

Jesus he was asleep at the light. He launched that bike from idle, then popped the clutch and wheelied 3/4 of the track and still ran a 12.9 at 110mph. I would love to see that bike launch hard. It's definitely an 11 second bike for sure!

How did the dodge get a head start? The tires are what are on the light to set the vehicles NOT the front of the vehicles, just like the finish line it’s the FRONT Tires that trigger the winner. I'm all about the Mopar but one must admit, the HD had balls. The bike should have had low bars and the rider in the tank. All things considered , the bike was only one second behind and it covered at least a third , on it's back wheel. Not too shabby.

Torque monsters in general by nature. 150+ hp baggers and softails are rampant now with the 131s entering the market. Cheap(ish) big power. They selling them right on the floor to new riders too. Just like selling an H2 or Hellcat to a new rider or driver. It's a terrible business model and getting them killed left and right. All impressive machines in their own way.

For some of you who don't know nothing at all about bikes. That Harley is a manual and it takes a little bit for bikes to take off on first gear then cars do. So this race was actually pointless nothing but straight fun and that's all good. Everything don't gotta be competitive all the time. But if he would had had nitrous on that bike and if it was a Sportster S, that bike would had been flying out of the strip.

I think you underestimate the horsepower to weight ratio of just about any motorcycle My Chinese 150 scooter will beat up on most passenger cars on the starting line. The first 60 ft I'll get just about anything on four wheels.
