Those bikes are far from stock. Stock bike vs stock car and the bike will likely win unless you've got something pricey. Tuned and chances are the car will take it, a much higher ceiling for cars. Cars have more parts to bring with also so your statement is kinda hollow.

Actually those bike don’t take much at all to make low 9s on a liter bike or bigger. 3/4 pipe, tune, and 4 inch extension, stickier tire that’s literally it. I’ve ran 9.77 on a stock length gsxr pipe and tune but I weighed 145 at the time.

I tried drag racing for a while, had an 11 second nova. Quit after two years. I was also racing street stock dirt ovals. I quit the drags, cuz a full day racing only got me 3 minutes in the car. Kinda dumb to build a car and try and drive it as little as possible. I like two hour races. A hundred laps. Still do roundy rounds, modifieds. To much fun, and not near as many jerks. Be well all.

I'm pretty sure they're bracket racing, where the two opposing bikes/cars leave at different times so as to (ideally) cross the line at the same time. It's about running as close to the same time (your 'dial-in') every pass as possible. The less off-dial you are, without going faster (breaking out), the better.

It really depends on the rider most of all , most of the cars here took off faster than the bikes Bc for a bike to have a good take off, it takes more skill Bc a car can just accelerate without worrying about anything but a bike has to worry about it wheeling, another thing to keep in mind is most of these cars have motor work and mostly all the leader bikes like the zx14 and hayabusa don’t really need motor work bc they already compete agains those cars. The H2 was the only one bc it comes stock with a supercharger but still there’s tons of things you can do to it
