Rocking this in 2023 in the hospital after my son was born yesterday. Gotta start em off the right way.

That guitar riff / hook, mixed with Travis's super simple yet at the same time signature complicated beat... it's unlike anything I have ever heard before. So unique and so incredibly catchy. And god damn, he hits the drums SOOOO hard. For that reason alone he's one of the best of all time. Dude always puts in 110%.
@genolopez61272 жыл бұрын
Yeah I've had Travis' drumming from this song stuck in my subconscious for years too. Its a drum'n'bass beat, but he plays it so damn tight I can't believe it's not coming from a drum machine.

I cant thank my father enough for introducing me to all the music he grew up. That included the transplants when I was around eight years old. Primarily because i loved rancid. He didnt want to let me listen to them at such a young age but I bugged him until I could. Thank you pops.
@crossbones27763 жыл бұрын
Other than this most of their songs are very family rated. I think all are but they just say whats going on in world and yeah most parents probably want to hide that from their kids.

This is kind of a weird-sounding song, when you think about it: it's a ska punk song with a very tight, sparse arrangement, half the verses are white reggae and the other is hardcore punk screaming and it has electric piano riffs throughout. There really isn't another song that sounds like this.
