Tip I've learnt recently: You can rebind your stratagem input keys to different keys to allow for mobility when inputting stratagems. You can still input your stratagems while on the run. Another tip I learnt is samples persists where you drop them. So you can drop them at the extract zone just in case you're planning to go into an area where you're likely to die and drop the samples somewhere irrecoverable.

I have a helpful tip for those pesky chargers. Using some kind of anti-tank weapon, aim for one of the legs. Usually one shot from anti-tank or recoiless rifle will Crack the armor then just unload on the exposed leg with primary weapon, they go down very fast.

Grenade launcher is fantastic and not just for lairs. Practice with throws (throws not launches) and you can hit a lair on a large hive (more than about 4 lairs) from across the crater (I think that’s 30+ meters … ping to check distance). The real benefit to the launcher is 20 additional grenades. Armor with the engineering perk gives 2 more regular grenades. More weapons than just the grenade launcher will handle a lair. Don’t be shy with resupplies. If you’re going to be in a location to clear, drop supplies before you need them. You’ll need them before you move on. Get them out on the field so you have access immediately. Supply pack gives grenades and you can also use it on yourself by picking the pack (5 on keyboard, I think maybe down arrow on controller) then click the use button. Spend time to practice with grenades. Make sure you can hit a distant lair. Hit a breach. Get it to the underside of a pausing crusher. Booster is available to start people will full ammo/stims/grenades.

I find Indirect fire with the grenade launcher to be very effective. If you aim directly upwards and fire all 10 rounds you have a pretty gnarly mortar shelling approximately 40 meters in front of you. I've been experimenting with it and it rocks if you get the placement right.

I unfortunately discovered the "dead mans switch" option when we were all waiting for our extraction at the last minute, I had the land mine strategem loaded up and ready to go, I was lining up the optimal placement and then BOOM, killed from behind, and then the mines spawned all around me where we were supposed to extract.. everyone on my squad died due to the mines spawning at the extraction point, they used the last reinforce on me before they died, I was able to escape but at what cost? ... at what cost?! ; _ ;

Tip 7 is REALLY entry level stuff. Sounds like you guys haven’t gotten to the higher difficulty and seen all the enemies yet. Armor penetration can knock armor off enemies. Pay attention to the icon of bullets bouncing off a shield. If you see that you’re ineffective. Most armored units have weak spots that are visually apparent. Shoot the weak spots. Grenades also work. Good anti armor will knock armor off a target and let regular weapons do full damage. This is mostly a thing with crushers and titans. The armored tick is so easy to reach the weak spot it doesn’t really matter that it’s armored. Rail gun is king. Spear is required by a team member for high level automaton levels. Auto cannon or auto cannon sentry or rocket sentry are great vs armor. Recoilless and disposable are all solid choices. Also plenty of the orbitals eat up heavy armor targets. Armor penetration AR isn’t good. The armor pen DMR is very good vs robots and bad vs bugs. Auto cannon, railgun, spear. One of those is needed by the designated heavy killer. Recoilless can work fine at lower levels.

Couldnt agree more dude. It all comes down to preference and specific situations in missions. Also those that say the game is p2w havent actualy played the damn game. The game is insanely good and fun as hell. You can build for heavy hitter, mob grinder, support guy, rain from above, etc.
