If you have a mouse with side buttons I recommend using the side buttons as up and down while keeping the left and right on a and d. This makes it so you can both walk(at least forwards and backwards), and look around with your mouse while calling stratagems.

I bought a Razer Basilisk for the side-scrolling and bound the stratagem inputs to M4, M5, and side scroll left/right

there are some guides on a software named voice attack that lets you input commands via voice recognition. if you bind the stratagem buttons as you said WITH that software you can run around freely while literally calling in stratagems with you voice AND look around.

Interesting option I never thought about. The only thing Im a bit wary of if changing between mouse and keyboard with the second hand could be even more of an disadvantage than standing still for a second. Btw I really like your presentation style calm and directly to the point.

Nice tip! I don't play on Keyboard and Mouse cause I primarily play in my console. So I use my middle finger to pull up the stratagem menu, the index to punch in the code, and my thumb stays on the left stick so I can keep moving.
