AH put the companion app data (whether cookie cutter/copy paste or not) and nobody is even hitting key targets to cover all that ground. From a gameplay perspective, it makes sense for the illuminate to use "mind control" and superior technology they have to allow them to appear as additional forces dropping in alongside bots and bugs.

I think it's probably going to go like this > Illuminate Invasion Force > Mutated Bugs come out of the space fog > Bots push hard towards super earth Then eventually I'm sure we're going to get a super earth defence - because a lot of work is going to go into one planet I'm sure that defence will be a long one, maybe even all factions surrounding super earth and fighting for over it, with us stuck in the middle. That will be a big update whenever it comes, maybe even announced at a future game awards.

I’d honestly really like to see an ODST warbond with customizable helmet and armor (for example being able to put mags on the chest plate or night vision goggles on the helmet) maybe even reskins for the sniper or FRV, just a fun idea throw out there.

Deep Rock Weapons and equipment perk could be a unique crossover idea. Imagine a deep Hive mining Drill used to drill beneath the surface that will allow Helldivers to tunnel into the Hive core and send down a Hellbomb we have to deliver into. Oh and they give us shovels 😂

I think the best "crossover" they could do with DRG is adding a "for democracy" button (fully working as a helldivers 2 rock and stone), with a very slim chance of an easter egg where you instead say "rock and stone!"

it's also that most of the weapons fit into already existing weapon archetypes and won't really bring much to the table beyond aesthetic - even if they turn the cartoony artstyle down to fit more with Helldiver's aesthetic. The only thing that immediately pops into mind as being a cool possibility the Gunner's minigun, which is something we've been yearning for since release.

Initially, my knee-jerk reaction is to agree to this sentiment; however, that said, I think it is flawed-as partially illustrated by @2MeterLP. It's the lighthearted tone, the dwarven cheerfulness displayed by the voice actor(s). If you listen to enough of the "For Democracy" lines in the heat of battle, it isn't that different. Whew. To end with, what we'd get is two armor sets based off of some of the dwarven ones, a number of weapons (likely adding to both energy and explosive categories), and a grenade (though I can't recall if they had anything that isn't essentially in the game as I've not played DRG in several months) and/or title. We aren't getting dwarves, though. You know this, I know this, they know this. It would work just fine as a collab, you just need to see the package in your mind (no pun, lol). Cheers! d[O,..,O]b

There should be long standing orders ie hold these planets as a line. That way they can have 2 or 3 long orders running at once. Reward us every 5 days if the order is fulfilled at that time

In terms of crossovers, I have to say...an old game called Haze would be pretty cool. The armour has the black and yellow colour scheme, and the weapons look like they would fit with the Helldivers aesthetic really well

The best DRG crossover would be to do one page of superstore items and then a in game event where we are providing support for the dwarfs planetside while they are inside getting minerals. Nursery nuke, supply drop and even the seismic objectives from the 1st game to help them with there task. The minerals would be a special currency that we get a portion of for earnable rewards on a 2nd page.

While I'm not looking for another cross over, I don't exactly think a DRG one would be bad if they stuck to certain weapons/armor, or even made it somehow tie into a new kind of sub-surface mission. DRG has several weapon options including a sort of backpack rover that can attack with you or mine hard to get spots, and the enemies are well...bugs, so I'm not seeing it as a big issue there since they could limit it to bug mission type that potentially has the foreman voice over, still add weapons (like a mini gun, hand gun, and grenade type) and possibly an armor or two that adds lights for tunnel/dark biomes. Nothing overly wacky or out of place there.

Two crossovers I would love to see: Halo ODST, which probably isn't gonna happen because Helldivers 2 is a Sony game and Halo is a Microsoft IP OR Titanfall 2. I don't think we've repelled a single Illuminate invasion since the last major order. Here's hoping the Major Order telling us to do so will draw in the numbers needed, but I'm not feeling confident. These attacks happen fast and require well over half the playerbase to jump onto a single planet as soon as it's attacked, and then to stick to it until it's completed before moving to whatever planet is attacked next. So far we've been staying behind on defending a planet and a third of the people instantly jump to the next one that pops up.

I believe a Deep Rock Galactic crossover should be totally unobtrusive as long as Helldivers maintains its visual style. I know theres plenty of Divers out there who love to dig a good hole. And iirc Deep Rock does have a DLC, the "Dark Future" pack that always did remind me of Helldivers.
