If you're too close to whatever you're throwing at, the spikes might not have time to extend. Just cook the grenade a sec before throwing and it'll stick better.

I do wish folks would stop talking about leaks. I feel it sets a false expectation for that leaked content to be added, only for the loud minority to get angry and vocal when the leaks never get added. Also, it seems they focus more on the new minor bugs that are just fun and not game breaking, while almost ignoring big issues that have been around since launch. I really want to know who's setting up the priorities for bug fixes and such.

Talking about leaks is fine. The "loud minority" will always be present and be loud about anything and everything. Not talking about leaks won't change how people act. Any sensible person understands the "cutting room floor", as not all features can get added to a game. The backlog will always exist If you wanna know more about feature and fix prioritization, learn management skills.

Hot take: Attachments need to either 1-have downsides or 2-Simple ones like optics or extended mags should be significantly better than others in some way. gameplay changing ones like suppressors or ammo mods need to be very situational otherwise everyone will just rock a suppressed explosion rounds gun if the extended mags are not big enough or if the fire rate mods have too much recoil.

It can be pretty handy. But it's mostly just really irritating. It's just no fun to be ragdolled and thrown by them. It's especially bad on Automatons as shots don't even need to actually hit them for them to explode, they're set off if a bullet so much as passes over them which is really inconvenient if you *have* to shoot over them. It wouldn't be so bad if they just staggered instead of throwing you. Or if they just reduced its force. Or if they had good hitboxes. They stagger enemies instead of throwing them, even the little ones. Why doesn't that rule apply to players?

Every mission I do on super helldive I only die on average once per match, quite often I don't die at all. And that's not me trying to brag because I only play with random and it seems that everyone else is having around the same amount of deaths that I have.

I al on ps5 and there is some bugs like yesterday had to quit a game because you could not call the stratageme to drill inside a nest and nuke it i aldo add the snake glitche or a glitch that made the seaf bomb stuck to my hands i could not interact with nothing add to be killed by a bug to respawn without it 😂 of course is rare but there is some bugs on ps5

I want the kick emote fixed on the ship, i've been kicked ragdoll out of the ship so many times by randoms, forcing everyone to wait an extra 30 secs before mission prep. Got tired of it and it spoiled my fun. So i just ran solo missions for awhile. Happy for it to get fixed.

9:23 I've also played with the legend on several occasions, he actually sent me a friend request as well. I can say Helldiver is incredible! Always responds to SOS on higher difficulties and with lower level players if possible. Second time we met, id joined a random sos against the Automatons. I remember they were out numbered with heavy units and Striders while raising the flag. Team leader called a retreat to "Run" John Helldiver sitting in his HMG with his recoilless taking out bot ships left and right says and i quote "Run! I Just got here!" And proceeded to hold the line while i ready my orbital Lazer and 500KG blasting away with my autocannon and throwing my running squad leader a HMG to cover us. Within a minute all those bots were scrap metal and the Super Earth flag was flying high...next 2 flags proceeded to be hell as well and we barely got to extraction with 3 of us. It was a crazy match!

On the control panel screen that isn't used, they should add clips from the days missions. Make it random from low level to high level players or missions, funny highlights to epic extractions. Gives you something fun to watch when sitting on your ship or make more fun to play knowing you might get featured to all players

1:15 It is a bit annoying of a bug i remember it months ago when it happened every time. I think having 4 loadout slots would make us divers much happier. Imagine just switching everything real quick, just selecting a specific loadout. Do the same for Stratagems too, most of us have a planned Stratagem set we use for each faction or mission type, search and destroy, defensive, demolition, etc so many loadout types and just tweak them before drop. I also think being able to switch loadouts upon death would be a great idea too, alow for greater playability and loadout testing. Maybe include a drop pod for switching loadouts, include a timer as well Icons for what it contains, armor, helmet, cape name, loadout name, and who dropped it. Either as a UI or on the pod itself, UI would look cooler and easier

I think they disabled the DSS so we didn’t use it on any of the defense missions from the Illuminate. With the defense freeze and the speed boost to liberation it probably would have messed stuff up. Just my theory lol

Anyone else think a Metal Gear collab would be cool? A stealth based Warbond themed after Solid Snake and Big Boss. Have both a sneaking suit from the MGS beginning sequence (mask too) and the second being Naked Snake themed (jump sequence/jungle snake) Both games are somewhat similar as well. The top-down earlier games to the more modern MGS4&5 have similarities to HD1 and 2 (especially MGS5 and HD2) Metal Gear has some pretty cool weapons and gear that would be awesome to see. Also new Automaton Metal Gear unit??? That would be amazing!

Im not a native english speaker but i play all games on english to avoid the bad and awkward translations. So you wont get foreignerish immersion when i join you. Thank Planetside 2 specificly. That kicked it off. Couldnt even understand some item descriptions because the translation was gibberish.
