The Dilligence is by far the best primary for bots in a group. I'm supporting my teammates from afar and one hitting enemies (I accidentally typed employees wtf?) and I'm able to spam it? Honestly this thing is incredible!

400 hours in the game. Diligence counter sniper is a sleeper pick against the bots. If you can aim accurately, quickly, with peak physique, and get those headshots, You can single-handedly turn the tide of any devastator heavy battle in a matter of seconds. You can also support from afar, even if a devastators not facing you, 4 shots to the leg will take it out.

Dang nice! Yeah it's super useful when you can aim well. Idk if it's just me but on this planet I get a great consistent frame rate and can take over most fights but on the new x-45 planet, I barely get a consistent 40 fps when there's no enemies around so my aim kinda sucks lol. Can you see the legs from the front? I was told to aim for their batter pack on the back if they're not facing me

@@Jaakeup Yeah, frame rate definitely affects aim. I turned all my graphics to the lowest possible, including the texture quality and the render scale I set to balanced. Tweak a few things here and there to your liking. My frame rate seems to do okay on X-45, not as good as other planets for sure. (12th gen i9, 3070 FE) HOWEVER, I have noticed that whenever a gunship is shot down specifically on this planet there's a chance that my game will go down to like 1 - 0.2 frames per second for a few seconds... Something with the explosion when they hit the ground or whatever. Seems fishy and even if they're off screen. When it comes to heavy devastators, the backpack is a larger target but it takes about 8 or 9 shots from full health with the diligence counter sniper. I never actually counted it out. Basically, going for a single leg gets the job done with half the bullets. With the guns capacity of 15, that's basically three kills with some wiggle room for error. Unfortunately heavy devastators guard their legs from the front with the shield. If there's a crapload of them I just whip a stun grenade and click on heads. Or take chances without one. With enough practice you can time their firing cycle and get the headshot in between bursts. The beauty of the gun is having that 200 m scope option, a lot of the time devastators will pick closer targets to pursue. (Allies) In the case for heavy devs, this exposes their legs. And if you have the chance, flanking on the left side of any engagement means you're less likely to be obstructed by their shield since it covers mostly the left side of their body, requiring less of an angle to hit the legs. Honestly, I feel like the biggest threat to the gun is the chainsaw arm dudes. I've been able to cook their heads with a stun and the diligence what feels like a single shot with some odd consistency. I don't know if their head is just too small or what. Standard bot Helldive loadout: Precision strike AMR Supply Pack Swing slot depending on the mission type (Orbital EMS, Gatling Barrage, Eagle Airstrike, 120 mm, 380 mm, Orbital Laser, Eagle Rocket Pods) Secondary is the grenade pistol because you never know when you're going to be at a detection tower or whatever with a damn stratagem jammer nearby. I use the light armor from the newest war bond with peak physique. Anyway, enough rambling. Hope to see you on the front!

@@Cosmis5interesting, pretty close to my usual long range build vs bots. Though I’ve been trading the grenade pistol for something to handle chainsaws, usually the verdict, Bushwacker, or redeemer.

2:40 so when a defense fails, the planet flips to 50% liberated and begins decaying based on whatever Joel sets the rate to. It can be liberated as normal, but can begin directing an attack on a connected planet right away, as you see here. Since Vega Bay is supplying the attack on X-45, if we were to liberate the Bay before the attack concludes it would automatically cut off the attackers regardless of what the defense campaign status was at that point. Once the defense fails though, we’d need to liberate it normally. So while in this case the defense is going well, you’re still effectively contributing to the war effort by both shutting off the bot attack and pushing the front line away from X-45.

I've been running a sniper support setup since the New bot major order. The Dilligence and APW-1 Anti-Materiel Rifle have been my goto since I'm only lvl.15. The anti-materiel is a sleeper, it can cripple any bot in 1-3 shots and can reach out to absurd distances. the stinger seems pretty clutch though.

I gotta learn more about the AMR cause I love using it but I feel completely useless against heavy enemies or gunships, it's cool you're able to figure it out so well!

It did a little work for ya, didn’t end up facing down too many chainsaws until the end. Keep with it, I think you’ll enjoy it more and more. Especially on planets with less open space to work with. Yeah the DCS is a fine weapon, especially with these open areas. It can 1-shot devastators to the head if you can manage it, too. Vs the scout walkers it does struggle a bit, as you found out, but hip and pelvis shots can work in a pinch. I like packing impact grenades or the eagle strafe for dealing with them personally. Good game!

Of course! Yeah the pistol helped a ton. I think in the next vid I equip the grenade pistol with a shotgun and I totally forget that I even have it lol. Yeah I found out way too late that I could shoot the legs on the walkers but it's super fun nonetheless. Thanks for watching and the commenting I really appreciate it!

It feels accurate, sometimes it's hard to aim because of the weapon sway / movement delay without peak physique

I've noticed that it's harder to aim when you're on uneven terrain. Either the scope is slightly off and/or the amount of mouse movement to adjust your aim is different. A lot of the time I'll be crouching or prone. Best advice is to find flat land behind cover to corner peak bots.

In the latest patch notes AH acknowledges that one of the new bugs introduced is that the 1st person scope sights are no longer accurate. True center is right below where you are aiming. So if you thought it weird that you line up a shot perfectly and it doesn’t head shot this is the reason. You need to aim further up. I hope this gets patched immediately!

It makes you invisible to them when you face them. Even shooting them won't make them detect you. Show them your sides or lower the shield and you're boned. It is almost broken, but sooooo fun.
