Concerning the new warbond guns, the halt shotgun apparently swaps between stun ammo (like the grenade stun) and armor piercing flechette ammo (medium pen). The smg is also supposed to be medium pen. Assuming Eravin is correct which I'm pretty confident he is

If it's like the first game, bayonet increases melee damage for all weapons that had it. The gun itself was a meme in the first one. Did damage, but reloading after every shot was rough for sure. Hopefully way more fun in the sequel

rifle is medium pen with 180 dmg, 5 bullet magazine with rounds reload and 60 fire-rate. The counter sniper is the better gun BUT a round reload rifle could be fun / usefull for the sniper builds out there. I also have a feeling its dmg will be buffed at some point to like 200-250 but thats prob just copium...

The Armour and rifle will most likely be like the Malevalon creek Veterans cape from April fools day, if you were playing HD2 before or during that point you were given the Creek cape but if you started playing helldiver 2 after the event you didn’t get it, this I’m guessing will be the same if you’ve been playing HellDivers before this event you’ll get the items even if you didn’t log in during, but if your a new player who buys the game and starts after this event finishes you won’t be given it unless Arrowhead rerelease it

I think Dead Sprint would totally be worth it depending on the health depletion rate. Outrunning a bot swarm with no stamina and lowering health, Pop a stim and keep sprinting during the health regen period.

Or, you will bork yourself accidentally during combat, as you will get 1 shotted much more easily as you will go below the threshold. My expectation is that the Synthol Arms Armor will be needed for the booster to have any effect.

PSA: if you want to farm super credits go set your difficulty to 2. Get your light armor and jet pack with one of your mates buzz around the map and open double doors and check POIs. My brother and i farmed 500 super credits in about 1 hour doing this. You dont even have to complete the mission. Once SC is obtained just abandon to ship and go on the next run. I know ow abandoning is heresy but if you’re desperate for SC thats one way to get it.

I could see dead sprint being somewhat useful to me just because sometimes im lazy and instead of waiting for my stamina to recover, i just hit the stim and with dead sprint it could make that strategy less wasteful otherwise I dont think itll be used as much, if ah does buff boosters i would love to see a ship upgrade overhaul as well, where some of the boosters are intrigraded into the upgrades

While I understand the concern with the reduced content, I don’t mind it. I think the previous Warbond model was a bit unsustainable especially with Arrowhead’s early development woes. When you factor in the increased time between releases, I think it’s fair to keep the price the same. Or rather, it’s not problematic. However, it would be cool to see an increase in non-functional cosmetic options.

It will not compete with any other rifle at all. However, it'll be impressive to see a full squad all running the constitution rifle on level 10 and surviving. It's meant as a meme weapon, to use for fun - or to make the game more difficult for yourself and your team.

Literally the only time exclusive stuff is one armor suit and cape which are cosmetics. Everything else, battle passes and all can be acquired at any time.

You start with the starter stuff, as did everyone else, and you can get it just the same, the time exclusive stuff was cosmetic only and had no unique effects

You don't really miss out on much as the previous comments have mentioned. You will get your ship that you need to upgrade and basic starting gear. Then, you will have to complete missions to level up and unlock more strategems which are your abilities along with medals to unlock more weapons and armor etc. That's the process for everyone. Regarding warbonds or battle passes, they are all permanently available so you can play the game until you have enough super credits to unlock them or you can purchase the super credits yourself. 1 warbond is equal to 1k super credits, which go for $10 USD. Keep in mind that completing the base battlepass or warbond will give you close to the 1k super credits you need to purchase a premium warbond and you can get the rest of the super credits in no time by playing. Once you purchase a premium warbond it will also give you 300 super credits to help towards buying the next one. That's basically how the content works. Everything is there for you to unlock at your own pace and the base equipment is pretty strong so you won't feel underpowered.
