Even now, squads or even individual Helldivers crawl through the brush, launching attacks of opportunity on automation bases or ambushing individual squads. It is a lethal song and dance all of them know by heart. Some might wonder how they could still fight on despite the planet being long lost by any sober estimation. The answer can be found in a small destroyed settlement where a statue of a Helldiver stands. Crudely carved into that statue is a single line: "They will save us." Those words were nothing but a lie. They couldn’t save them. But they can avenge them. And until their last breath they will dedicate everything to that purpose. They have given themselves body and soul to the cause. To the Creek.

I've been fighting on Draupnir the past few days, and its been a grind. I wasn't there at the fall, but I have fought on the creek since then when I could and have fought the bots far more than the bugs. Now that Draupnir is liberated, the SES Founding Father of the Constitution flies to the Creek! Spillbug's. For our fallen Brothers and Sisters!
