You REALLY need to pay attention to the devs. 'Hacker or dev'...... the devs already said they do not enter public matches and summon unreleased content. They clearly stated that anyone doing so is a hacker, regardless of their claims, and should be reported. It's unbelievable how gullible you people are, even when someone blatantly tells you that's not the case, you still believe it's a dev.... If you're gonna post helldivers videos, you should at least be up to date on dev chats.

If I covered one game like this exclusively then no doubt I would have time to check all dev updates however I cover multiple games Hence why i said i didn't know and would leave it to other individuals like yourself who spend more time on the game to say whether or not it was like I said the reason i thought it may have been a dev was they came in dropped it and left so it seemed a bit strange.

I tested it earlier by throwing 6 incendiary impact grenades at it and it still didn't blow up, this one seems way tankier.

Any Helldivers 1 vet knows that the Exo Patriot is the best version of all 3 mechs. The reason is simple. It has a large capacity gatling gun to deal with all swarms and a massive rocket count that can easily take down any heavy, including titans. The Emancipator Exo can not do all this effectively due to its low ammo count. The Emancipator must have support fire to take down small bugs. Otherwise, the autocannons' firepower will be severely wasted on small bugs, leaving the heavies to run unscathed. The 3rd mech will be the dual flamethrower. Again, just like the Emancipator, its role is specific. Target swarms and heavies no bigger than Chargers. Don't waste them for titans. The Patriot is the best all-around mech and the reason why it was released first.

The Emancipator is meant for longer range engagements, especially if out of reach from enemy combatants. A single one can provide excellent covering fire for people being chased by chargers or titans. It’s also capable enough of destroying tanks and laser cannon towers. This is a matter of picking the right suit/deploying them on the right situation. I already know I’m gonna use this over the Patriot only because I only ever use my mechsuits for heavy stuff and I have time and space to deploy it As for small bugs, just step on them, the mechs have a left-foot stomp melee.

@idkwhatcoolnametouse8987 that's another good point too. Long range vs close-mid range. The Patriot excels at the latter and why it was preferred by most Helldivers 1 vets. The Patriot's rockets could hit long range but was limited to 14 rockets. Can't remember how many it was on HD1. But it was similar. So sometimes the dual autocannons was needed for those harder missions. Choose your mech and use it wisely.

@@Wheelz567 Yes, that was my favourite. That cannon is a monster plus the flamethrower was perfect for taking out smaller things at close range while the cannon was used to prioritise big threats at longer ranges

If it can help, yes it is indeed from the dev (speaking from modding experience). The yellow version with the ammo UI is the final product (what you experienced) while the one you might see in a lot of video that is black is the modded version from the game files that is part of the unreleased mod. At this moment, as far as I am aware, the mod for those unreleased stratagems doesn’t work anymore since the start of march so everything you see in game is most likely from the dev

⁠@@sofasupastargamingNo, this one is still spawned from the unreleased stratagem mod. Yes, that mod still works. This mech was indeed used to be black. However, it changed to yellow and have a finished UI when the game updated on the 6th March, where the prototype arsenal major order was issued, followed soon by Tien Kwan major order and Patriot Exosuit mass production. (Speaking from experience as I have a friend still using the mod).

Ive had the same thing happen to me about 10 mins ago, a guy dropped the exo suit mid automation battle , it was pretty cool. (We lost the battle and he left sadly)

I would rather instead of getting the flamer mech, we get a patriot variant that has higher armor and a limited reloadability feature, but 2 miniguns. would be nice to just have.

Honestly I'm surprised to see the emancipator, because seeing a leak in the text document in your game library (which they seem to have changed so it's all gibberish now) I saw the normal walker, but I also saw obsidian. So I was expecting to see the obsidian from the first game in. However at this point it seems like that was a placeholder, and the emancipator is liked the replacement since they both use autocannons on both arms, just the obsidian in the first game couldn't deal with tanks well supposedly (just going off wiki, haven't played it yet). However, the obsidian had 250 rounds, whereas emancipator has 150. With how strong autocannon is in Helldiver 2, I think the tradeoff for less ammo is worth it for just how devastating every shot is. Whatever the case is, my autocannon addicted friend that also loves mechs is probably going to bring this for every mission. So will I probably, so it's gonna be a fun time. That said, I wonder if we'll have 2 uses for it like the other exosuit. If I get the ability to bring 4 mech stratagems, you bet I'm gonna bring 4 mech stratagems. They still haven't brought in the Lumberer (big cannon + flamer). Also they might do something with the obsidian later. Even if it's just these 2, at least we're gonna get 2 vehicles as well.

You’re better off saving ammo for eggs, Scorcher’s AOE shots can destroy over half the eggs of a single spot with just 1 or 2 mags

It kind of looks like it would be weaker than the current one. You only have 150 shots and while more powerful it looks like you got to use a lot more because you need to use that ammo on everything even small stuff and it isn't efficient enough to make up the difference. With the current one you only have to use 1-2 maybe 3 rockets on big stuff and then you have 1000 rounds which work just as good for the little stuff. Ofc maybe it works out to about the same and it certainly looks like a lot of fun.

Its great when you are swarmed by medium to larger targets and seems to be much better close range as with the other exo suit if you are outnumbered by chargers etc you'll often accidentally blow yourself up by rockets or be worried about using them I preferred this one for ease of use but you are definitely right the first has a slightly more versatile loadout👍

The person who developed the cheat tools to get access to this stratagem is the hacker. The term for the person who uses the cheat tools to access this equipment is a point of contention depending on your opinion on cheating on a PVE game. The same cheat tools that let you access unreleased stratagems can also let you be invincible, have unlimited ammo, etc, so I'd say he's a cheater. Other people might say he's just a modder because it's a PVE game and he's just spawning unfinished content. If you use cheat tools in a game, I say you're a cheater, regardless of apparent intent because I can't know what else you're using the tools for. No issue with people breaking the game files open and testing stuff in private lobbies, but don't use cheat tools in multiplayer games, regardless of whether it's PVP or PVE. It cheapens the experience.

Tested it. Its alright, but it needs a slight AMMO increase and more armour penetration because it takes too long to take out chargers and bile titan. After these buffs it will be good.

I think the devs are sitting on vehicles to drip feed us content between themed events (Tien Quan); This annoys me because jeeps and APCs are already visible on the maps.

You didn’t get killed by the charger, you were killed by firing your auto cannons too close to the charger. It said you were killed by the exosuit.

that comes up sometimes even if your not firing in exosuits same as sometimes youll see killed by then your gamertag when youve been hit by random fall damage or sometimes other effects the killed by isn't perfect in game currently👍

Could just be the exosuit blows up killing the helldiver. It probably doesn't consider the cause of the explosion.

Yeah, the autocannons seem to be the AC8, same as the sentry, the ammo has an explosive radius and firing at point blank was likely what destroyed the mech. It will be a potent weapon, but squad mates will have to clear danger close mobs.
