HMG Emplacement absolutely fucking SHREDS bots. Only struggles against tanks.

HMG Emplacement is good versus Gunships; can take down about three Gunship patrols with one turret, or, multiple Bot patrols regardless of what Bots are involved. Hulks, tanks, even enemy turrets can be taken out with it, provided you hit the weak spots.

This is my favorite part of Helldivers. It feels like you're in an actual war, not just some guy on the ground with a rifle running around. It's pretty true to how modern day US military strategy works.

Sorry to burst your humble bubble, but Helldivers 2 is a heavily fantasized and romanticized game on war. Where its all super fast action and explosions every 2 seconds. Reality is, war is mostly all running, walking, sneaking, recon, long planned operations slow paced. Death is also very sudden and not so heroic as you think. One moment you might be sitting talking with your buddies 10 seconds later, his head is gone. Battles aren't isnt and they take time days, weeks, months or even a year to finish. This is far from reality.

Darwinian super soldier making. You play as a full regiment of Helldivers who presumably fight even while you are not at the controls. Each Helldiver you handle has been through as many battles as you, has seen the hell you have and come out alive. Also the tutorial isn't the only training they receive, Helldivers are picked from promising SEAF recruits and have already received weeks of basic training before being selected.

i think helldivers were originally recruited directly from the SEAF infantry and ETC, before they moved to recruting just anybody. still im pretty sure tho that if you were to enlist as a helldiver you'll go through millitary training first.

No it wasn't. It was a boring slog armed with nerf guns against stupidly overtuned enemies. This video showcases a single minute of a good stratagem, I guarantee the rest of the 40 minutes mission was spent getting one shot by rockets, having tanks dropped on their heads and getting ragdolled out of bounds or below the map, IF either they or their team mates didn't get disconnected randomly.

Player survived longer than intended. New Update: - HMG become TOO RELIABLE on the bot front and did not worked as intended, now it shoots nerf darts. - Players were able to survive longer than intended on helldive and super helldive - health reduced to 1 point . 100% players used sprint which overshadowed walking and crouching, players can no longer sprint.
