I dropped into a match with a hacker. There was like 8 auto cannon turrets up as 'defense'. A bunch of supply pods that had no supplies at all while still being open and interactive.(Pre armed supply pod) The guy kept telling me to use one. He used one. I got 10 credits. I left immediately after. Not about to get banned for that.

On the monthly warbond issue, I'm pretty sure it was the whole community six months ago asking for them to slow down the release cadence from one a month. Either people have short memories, or the game's just gotten THAT many unaware new players (which I'm pretty sure is the case!), but either way, I feel like since the buff-divers update they've gotten into a pretty solid content-update to patch-fixes balance.

Well new players wouldnt be complaining that there isnt monthy schedule as they wouldnt know there was on in the first place. Its just the fact that a lot of helldivers are not chosen based on their lack of cognitive functions rather than their abundance.

The DSS is in a really weird place. Everything about it sounds fun and helpful, but in reality if you can’t move it to a new defense campaign when that campaign starts, what’s the point? It seems the list of planets it can move to only updates at the time it moves, meaning even if the station is going to move 30 minutes after the start of a campaign, it can’t actually “help” there until hours later.

Two bugs I’ve noticed recently: 1) Planetary eagle strafing run kills are added to the host’s kill count. 2) Stepping out of a vehicle can sometimes result in an insta death for no apparent reason. Happened to me twice.

On the topic of "oh where is the monthly warbond?" You're correct. there was a discussion they had, and yeah freedom's flame was the last warbond hitting that old monthly schedule if i'm not mistaken. which was August right? So my assumption here is that all the people asking are the same people who quit playing before things went completely south (and we dropped to below 30k average on prime time during weekdays) are all still confused and thinking that the monthly warbond thing is how we've been getting them still, because they haven't been in the loop.

Idea for the minigun, make it a mech! A small diver sized mech via the style of an exosuit that has the gun and ammo backpack equipped with it. Make it have heavy armor speed but give it extra sprint or even unlimited sprint(might be unbalanced with unlimited). To equip it maybe the diver has to mount the hellpod and drop into where it puts the suit on you or something like that. You'd has to brace to shoot it accurately so no moving if you plan on hitting anything at range. It would allow you to move and shoot but with severe recoil. Just my thoughts on how to add it to the game outside of a hulking mech.

i like this exosuit idea, might also need to take a couple seconds to get in and out of it just like a mech as well, so its able to be very powerful without the added benefit of being a special weapon you can just carry around easily the whole mission

I don't typically comment, but I do watch all your helldivers related videos. Just wanted to touch on a few points. 1. I wasn't around for the old intro, so you changing that hasn't made me feel any type of way, however, from the intro I'm used to, I just wanted to say both are absolute bangers and perhaps under appreciated in comparison to other channels. 2. The fact that you make solo videos is not an excuse to have audio overlap because honestly, no excuse is needed. You're human, humans make mistakes, and the fact that you get the quality content out in the timely manner that you do, should be more than enough for people to not be worried about audio mix ups. Lesson learned, move on, give yourself props for even making these videos. 3. Just an appreciation for your unbiased, relatable view, that allows me to keep up to date with what's going on in the game without having to wade through toxic forums.

As someone who also edits my own videos and make the thumbnails myself, dont pay atention to people complaining about an editing mistake, the fact you've been doing videos for this long and as far as i remember, there hasnt been anything like that. Its understandable, you where short in time and likelly the usual check you do to make sure the video was correctly done was probably cut short do to life and responsabilities. You do a great job and I wish I could make it to your level. Your pretty much one of the only consistent source for helldivers 2 content and updates. A thought I've had relating to supply packs and rearming vehicles... What if we just implement it as a function of the supply pack that's already there, but it uses the whole pack to resupply a vehicle, and half a pack to resupply a turret? If that's too OP on it's own, maybe make this an upgrade to the supply pack or make a second supply pack that's basically the same as the normal one, but with a slightly longer cooldown and an extra supply case on the bottom capable of resupplying vehicles and turrets - give or take variations on this idea for balance and to avoid supplanting the regular supply pack ...Should I post this somewhere the devs are more likely to see it or is it a bad idea?

A Friend and I talked endlessly how we would love to have missions with Planetary Cannon equivalent enemies/emplacements for each fraction to destroy our destroyers during an the entire operation at a Higher level like 11 (Super Helldive+)! If our Destroyer is the one that randomly gets destroyed, we lose out on using our Strats, Eagles and Orbitals 😂

My audio settings on PS5 are as follows: Audio device: headphones. I use the Pulse 3D headset Master vol: 11 Music vol: 8 Dialogue vol: 11 Sound effects vol: 10 TtoS vol: 11 Voice chat vol: 11 Voice chat is set to Open Mic And midnight mode is OFF. I have NEVER experienced any of the bugs people have mentioned around audio. Maybe I'm just one of the lucky Divers. Hopefully this helps if you're having audio issues.

Personally I don't really use most stratagems as everyone usually has them covered, I Just rock the (Heavy for Open world, Medium for Defense.) machine guns and supply pack or shield pack then the rest of my slots are defensive stratagems. I kind of wanna see more of 'em to be frank as Squid missions really are quite tough to hold a defense against even with 150 max friends - Like Deployable Barricades when eventually that one guy destroys all your cover with a 380 Orbital - Improvised Mines, Deal less damage but causes targets to bleed out or get crippled like bear traps - Some kind of fire-foam or slow sticky paste that slows down the weaklings so you actually have a chance to reload your heavy weapons and not get swarmed. -Concealable Turret. A turret that, when not firing hides in the floor and pops up to attack when there's enemies. (i think this would just be neat.) Etc ideas. You guys can most likely come up with better ones. But my point is there.

I play on PS5, I haven't experienced any hackers or audio issues. I usually keep my headset focused on in game audio, unless I'm in a party. Only issue that I've been having is during a mission, enemies tank alot of rounds if said round doesn't just dissolve within them. Its off and on though, sometimes the voteless take 1-2 shots from plasma shotgun to go down. Then another will take 3-5 shots, these are all direct shots not splash damage. The squids take 3-4 shots usually, but some I've had take an additional up to 5, the seekers with their warpship calling selves, will take up to 5 aswell, when some take just 3. The walkers oh man, the walkers will take 1shots all the way up to 7 and some will just completely disappear and not register with recoilless, regardless of being all directed to the leg joints. Not sure if others have experienced this, but this has been a few experiences I've encountered.

The DSS seems like it's being used more for Heeth's liberation given the current state of the map. It seemed like the major order was off to a rough start when I saw it there the first couple of days. The timing being off probably isn't the main reason for it isn't be used optimally for the order. Given the gambit message didn't send people to Heeth before to finish the previous order in on swoop, but rather now during this major order.

First people were complaining that we were getting too many war bonds, now they're complaining we aren't getting enough. As someone who doesn't play a lot I like how the war bonds are spread out. Gives me just enough time to farm some super credits so I can buy the new war bonds. Internet just being the Internet I guess.

yeah I was participating in the defense joining other people's missions but for some reason after every time I join a mission I immediately get booted once we're done. and I'm not being kicked, it's usually saying something like host disconnects or there was a connection error. I don't think of the problem on my end cuz when I'm playing with friends this never happens only with randoms. I don't mention immediately get disconnected and I know that when you complete a campaign on a planet you get a liberation meter feel that multiplies with the people in your team. so constantly having people just disconnect is really going to affect that score.

The audio for this game on my ps5 still doesn't work, period. Only way I hear audio is through headphones. Since the last update, it hasn't worked, and I can't believe it hasn't been fixed with this last update.

In the PS settings under sound and under audio format- make sure it’s NOT set to Dolby Atmos. My sound stopped working with one of the patches in late November or early December. Try changing the PS audio format priority and restart the game. Good luck👍

We need a tank as a stratagem! That car is cool, but it's hard to drive and honestly too fast. Plus the terrain is very uneven, and you crash it a lot. A slow moving tank or Bradley might be a better option. Hopefully it has multiple guns on it.

Just wondering whats up with the negativity in the thumbnail/titles? Having the screenshot yelling ‘THINGS JUST GOT WORSE 🤯’ then nothing is worse in the video? Have you found they get a lot more interaction? I mean we are wired for more sensitivity to negativity nnn it does seem in line with the rest of youtube. Man we are more divided than any other time ive been alive, mabye even just a happy thumbnail could help move the needle towards positivity, even if its just a tick. Most armors do have helldiver skulls on the undersides of their boots, most just aren't a different color than the rest of the boot

From what I know about mini-guns, you need some serious guns to carry it and to handle the insane recoil. If you all want gatling guns, you can't run while firing it, you need heavy armor and assist to carry the darn thing and you need a resupply as a weapon firing 1500 rpm can eat through a 500 mag in 20 seconds.

i downloaded an armor set mod where it has the input for the 380 he barrage and the words "the only threat to my team is me" scratched into the arm and on the other arm the hellbomb input with the words "in case you forget"

In the case of the illuminate ships and grenades I’ll cook the HE grenade for a second or two then bounce it off the inside walls of the door. Usually watch it hit the wall ricochet off the door and get caught behind the ramp. Usually destroys the ship for me atleast. Hope this helps other divers until they fix this with that update

the whole point of SAM turrets is theyre effectively sentry guns that kill dropships (SAM stands for Surface-to-Air-Missile in case you didnt know) afaik pinging doesnt do anything other than mark things, unless you have that mortar upgrade that makes them aim at things you mark. its more likely that that people are just pinging dropships before they kill them, just in case the dropship doesnt die and will need extra attention, or someone pinged it and then someone else blew it up
