Saying you wouldn't prioritize Hellpod Space Optimization over anything else is CRAZY! That is an A-S tier booster, especially in group play. That statement is only true in solo play, where you actively prioritize staying alive.

Yeah I love it especially with randoms. Might be able to argue to swap it out if you are playing with a bunch of sweats on a discord call.

I never ever EVER take the HSO. Once you drop, call down a supply pod and you are set and then stick together. You are basically wasting a booster slot where you can much more vital boosters for survivability for something you already have in an unlimited amount of stratagems with decent fast cool down. Also, supplies are very common across the map making it even more of a waste. Usually the ones who pick HSO are the ones who build for a play style where they drop like flies over and over (and they do...) instead of actually build in a way where you stay alive.

@@Gundolf300 we get 20 lives per mission there is little to no reason to completely avoid dying I for one will tactically die in certain situations, sometimes multiple times per mission, because dying and getting reinforced is the fastest way to traverse the map so having HSO is nice, though I can absolutely live without it

@Gundolf300 true, as one does. I don't stick together in the group all the time, and my randoms normally don't either. We break up into groups of 2, or someone goes solo to handle things. It's also very common to get separated in the heat of battle, or to have generally bad games where you all die over and over. Either way you slice it, the HSO booster is an A-S tier pick

frags are incredibly useful at wiping out groups of little bugs/spewers or entire bot patrols while staying behind solid cover and not using up a stratagem, just gotta learn to cook them properly

Uh, the only context in which you can justifiably call Hellpod Space Optimization "average" would be in solo runs where you get supply pods all to yourself. If your running a full team like +99% of players do, it's a core part of the big 4 (Vitality, Infusion, Space Opt, Stamina).

yeah i always make sure to have it, especially when u drop in an aweful spot and u need the stims to live since 2 isnt enough or if u do live ur left with nothing to use.

If you're running with blitzer, laser weapons, or supply pack you really don't need it unless you die a lot. It has even less use if you take a mech. It's still above average though.

Fortified isn't that bad on bugs. Spewer and bile titan acid counts as explosive damage

Frag grenades come with a single extra use, making them good for bug missions when you have to clear a mega nest. Of course there are all sorts of other options but that’s how I use it

Yeah frags are not only good on bugs if you cook them and make em explode right on em but are amazing as a spawner closing tool

Just farmed enough for demo warbond. I bought the war bonds in the worst order. Viper, polar patriot, cutting edge, then demo

@ethandebruyne9206 nooooo 😂 its deceiving in looks, i almost exclusively use blitzer, grenade pistol and thermite, then ill have bouts using random weapons that i never use just to try them out. The other ones i really like are the lib pen and sickle.

I disagree with the punisher plasma. I mainly just fight bots not bugs so this is based on my bot experience. But for me it’s been great to use since I can one shot the scout striders. Not to mention it can kill multiple low tier enemies at once as long as they are in proximity to one another. So it’s like a grenade launcher with a lot more rounds. There is a learning curb as the rounds do arc but you get used to it. Also, it makes medium armor enemies flinch such as berserkers, devastators so that’s a plus along with the fact that it latches onto enemies near. I’ve been swarmed countless times and managed to get out due to this weapon. Especially when the berserkers spawn in as a battalion this can take them out swiftly albeit with one or two reloads. Pair this with the senator as a secondary and some balanced stratagems, then you can solo any encounter.

You can change the key bind to switch firing mode, this makes auto cannon, recoiled, and ESPECIALLY THE HALT SHOTGUN, much better/easier

The impact incendiary grenade is easily one of the best grenades against bugs definitely not bottom tier what so ever

The reason stun rounds do less damage is because of it's penetration. Lower pen = no DMG, equal pen = half damage, higher pen = full DMG. Since it has light pen it's ALWAYS doing half dmg

It is interesting that specifially chemical agents is the worst one yet because that one was technically released AFTER the devs realized that they are losing players because all the stuff they release is garbage and the rest is just getting nerfed into the ground. Polar patriots is a interesting one because when that one was released that was BY FAR the worst one yet and with the boring af armor bonuses they disappointed a huge chunk of the community but with the recent buff that warbond was improved A LOT, purifier is now an S-Tier weapon and the AR-61 Tenderizer is now my go to rifle for bots because of its high damage and low recoil you can headshots enemies pretty well just by being all spray and pray. Viper commando could use some love tho I feel like all weapons are underperforming especially the throwing knife.

The gas guard dog is goated on bugs and not bad on bots. Its not bad, its pretty damn good for keeping them at bay

1:00 not true. It helps you survive bile spewer juice, bile titan juice, spore charger explosions, the green bug artillery stuff, all that. Basically anything that splashes.

The sterilizer isnt used for killing enemies !!! Its used for blinding them, your able to make an entire bug breach or bot drop nearly unable to attack you with it, ive been able to clear out bot drops by spraying them for a couple seconds then meleeing everything, even for things like tanks

Honestly anything negative about viper commando more than makes up for it by giving you objectively one of the best top 3 passive buffs in the game (peak physique) also the armor just looks so slick

Hot take... people who think med kit is better than engineering kit don't know how to stay alive and not get hit. I'm sorry, but 7!! Frags is amazing. And while it's a niche use, fortified is great for bile spewers on bugs because their puke is labeled as explosive damage. I strongly disagree with the sickle being bottom, it's accuracy and no recoil more than make up for its low damage. It pairs really well with the GL imo.

I like med kit because it gives me spares to stim my teammates. Either that or just using them with experimental infusion to full on sprint anywhere is very fun.

Averaging out weapon's effectiveness by rating its effectiveness against both factions at the same time makes no sense. There's no mission where you fight 2 factions at once. A weaon thats god tier against a faction and bad against another isnt an average weapon. Cant judge a fish on his ability to fly and all that. Its be like saying an AT weapon is average because its great at AT and bad at horde clear.
