Pro tip: if you get a stratagem beacon stuck on your shield, you can drop the shield by holding X and then hovering your mouse over the backpack icon that shows up on the wheel that appears, and releasing X. This also lets you drop samples and your support weapon, as well as a fourth option I don’t remember

iv been binge watching helldivers videos then came across the click bait of this thumb nail and went on the rollercoaster of emotions excited thinking the video was about the new mech stuff coming out soon then read the title of the video and realized its was a funny moments video and the thumb nail was a bait, a trick, a LIE! filled with despair I will now be unreasonably petty and never watch one of your videos again fully knowing that it doesn't matter and missing one viewer will go 100% un-noticed. That would be a fun idea… pop up missions where you hunt and kill a team killing helldiver, and take their place when they die

Ehh, with the amount of parties who are simply friends fucking around and killing each other or just random helldivers accidentally killing friendlies with gunfire or stratagems; this would become quite annoying. I personally haven’t encountered anyone team killing just for the sake of it in my 60 hours played so far. You’re going to encounter players that team kill for no reason in any game like this you play, but it definitely doesn’t happen often enough to warrant some kind of counter such as this. Just ask whoever the host is to kick them, and if the team killer is the host; just leave, it’s as simple as that.

@@brayerkh Maybe a system that marks players, changing their names red eventually from their victims indicting them. Seeing a red name, would alert everyone to be wary & allow them to punish the traitor. Penalty should last a month.

@@Crabriri Still don’t think it’s a good idea. I’ve been team killed by friendly air strikes over 50+ times diving with randoms. Maybe if the devs had some system where they can review a helldiver’s recent games where they go out of their way to kill people in random dives (they’d also have to differentiate between someone killing teammates in a random helldive and helldivers fucking around in a full party where everyone knows each other, usually teamkilling for memes); I’d consider that a good idea. But it’s just not possible, in my opinion. My main point is that purposeful teamkilling random people isn’t common enough to justify any kind of system like this. Maybe you’ll get one toxic person like that out of 100+ separate dives. And personally I still haven’t seen someone do this. In my time playing DRG and all the L4D games, it was also pretty rare; to the point that those games never needed a system like that as well. Just gotta face that one game out of a few hundred; you’ll encounter some teamkilling loser.

I really wish they would make the anti-material rifle useful. Seriously - I love this weapon on its own. But when the difficulty increases to at least medium, the priority of weapons shifts greatly towards heavy weapons, such as grenade launchers and rocket launchers, railguns, etc. With a sniper you can only kill a walker, and then with three hits to the forehead, and lightly armored bugs. If it could at least destroy the engines of dropbots, then this would already make her twice as useful.
