Not like too close means much with the tesla, don't even need to be within it's range if one of your allies gets in its absolutely massive range.

Probably my favorite clip yet - I replayed that 10 seconds about ten times. The timing and positioning couldn’t have been closer or more exciting. Wow!

There are multiple mechs, the OG the EXO-44 "Walker" armed with a Gatling Gun and Rocket Pod, EXO-48 "Obsidian" armed with 4 20mm autocannons with 2 on each arm, and lastly the EXO-51 "Lumberer" armed with a Flamethrower and a 90mm autoloading cannon (this is my favorite in the first game, perfect for dealing with heavy armored enemies)

It's possible if we have the map sectors collide, that there will be 3-way wars on these planets. There's also a possibility we'll have to fight on Earth one day, assuming it's not a dead "GAME OVER".

As exciting as it is, I think the Mech units are functional, but not quite finished/polished. The way it snaps around at 3:38 and 3:40 doesn't look intentional (and defently too fast), and the legs still use the same animation when he strafes a bit around 3:49 . What it makes me wonder is if the legs will turn in the direction your walking while the torso turns to face the camera. That's what I hope they'll do anyway.

at 3:30, it really hurts me every time people call it just a mech, they have names. Exo 44, Exo 48, exo 48 is known as obsidian with twin linked autocannons

Even as a mech fan, I can see how it's annoying. I think it'll get corrected (at least somewhat) when they're actually released. But at the same time, I think that it's the easiest way to refer to them as a group. (but at the same time again, I haven't played the original Helldivers and don't know if they had a group designation there)

@@chocomilkfps1264 no. I played the first game unlike all the new divers. Which was 8-9 years ago. There's also exo 51 which has a 90mm anti tank cannon with a flamethrower. Atleast I'd wish they could be more informative. There will most likely be no mech customizations. But I know now they're bringing back 48 which makes me happy. But I wanna see 51. I also wanna find out about the LAV that's unreleased. Is it the same as the first games LAV? Also same with the TD-110 bastion, I wanna see that return!!

For the clip at 7:10 I think I found out what that actually is. We've all been killed by a titans leg even after death and the bugs can FF too so I think what we're seeing is the Titans leg just tapping the other one lol I see this all the time sometimes i get a collat with 3

Sadly a lot of people have bought and played the game just to run constant elimination missions for exp to hit lvl 50 and other such nonsense. I saw one dude who was lvl 24 who became host when other dude left, he didn't even know how to select a mission?! Another guy I played with was lvl 19 and thought his game was bugged out cause the AA DEFENSE effect was only allowing 3 stratagems. The examples continue. Lvl 25+'s doing difficulty 9 and having no idea how half the stratagems or effects work. And on and on.

You could not customize your mech in Helldivers 1 (only level them up to lv. 3 like you could with the weapons and stratagems) You had one mech in the main game and I think it was 2 from DLC. They all had fixed armament.
