With how fucking huge an IP Monster Hunter is, being tied in with Sony (On and off yes I know, but still, with World and Wilds, they were and are pretty in bed with the company) Monster Hunter Wilds will be released on all platforms, PC, PS5, and Xbox. You'd think that Sony's BIGGEST SELLING IP would be a big deal moving to Xbox. Sony would still get a cut on those Xbox sales, and it would be a big deal letting it expand out to Xbox...Sony is literally jumping over dollars to pick up dimes with their desire to force the PSN on people for their data. Here's hoping Arrowhead is able to break up with Sony for HD3...Because man, this game would feel so much less dirty if it wasnt so tied into Sony. It's given me a terrible feel for that company.

I think based on how IPs work, they can’t just break free of Sony and make a third helldivers. They can do one of those things, but not both. Also monster hunter was never a Sony IP, it was just often published on Sony consoles first as PlayStation is big in Japan, but Xbox not as much

Sadly the Helldivers IP is owned by Sony and not Arrowhead. They would first need to buy the IP from Sony, and its price must have skyrocketed with the success of this game.

I played 3 missions yesterday with a competent driver, it was sooo good. You can still end up being busted by enemies or a meteorite for sure, but going from point to point as a proper squad for most of the mission was really nice

I forced myself to be a good buggy driver because it's so damn fun to skirt around enemies and quickly zoom to objectives or POIs, or even be the "savior" of a teammate that's so far from the squad that it's your duty to pick them up from a bad situation lmao. The key takeaways are to control your speed, know when to switch gears from Drive to either 1st or 2nd depending on terrain, and use your handbrake.

also need to remove the 25% cooldown increase and 50% call in time on pretty much every operation is quite annoying maybe replace it with certain modifiers for enemies for example a charger stampede that happens periodically on operations with the modifier or stratagem cool down decreases

4:48 yeah the illuminate are fun but I still play bugs because there are so few illuminate enemy types atm. Once they add more, they’ll be up to par, but rn they feel pretty barebones and don’t even have any bile titan/factory strider equivalent yet (just because harvesters are tall doesn’t mean they’re a bile titan-strength enemy)

I get that the middle of the year was rough considering heavy handedness of the nerfs. I finally took a break when the flamethrower and its animations were nerfed for the fire focused warbond (a warbond I was most excited for). But I came back after the game awards and I’ve been having an absolute blast. All the guns feel fun. Higher difficulties are challenging but I’m actually killing things and getting through them. I’m really happy everything is back on track.

Idk if someone has found this yet, but I think I discovered some tech (tech stands for technology). If you ads shoot an overseer with a blitzer, it will strip its chest plate leaving black flesh/suit underneath. This leaves it vulnerable to follow up shots by an automatic or even better, a guard dog, allowing you to stun and kill overseers very quickly.

8:30 Wilbert knocked the OST out of the park in all regards. I'm still salty he didn't get a nod for best soundtrack. I know some people are like "there's one good track" but that's just simply reductive and dismissive. The whole soundtrack is a banger and the Illuminate music goes on to show that we're still getting great new tracks. The Illuminate music was in the game files way back since launch, so it's obvious Wilbert made a bunch of music for planned content, but I'm hoping that AH brings him back when they need new tracks that go beyond anything that was already planned

While I do think the FRV and mechs have a few kinks to iron out, a dedicated vehicle slot would trivialize the game difficulty further. Mobility and anti tank capability is a power up you must sacrifice a slot for, it is not base kit for a reason.

I mean I think bots are fine now since everything has a weak point, even the barrager tank. After the buffs, no faction really funnels you into using very specific weapons

Man the Illuminate update looks so cool. I want to reinstall HD2 and play it on my new PC, but I'm pretty sure Game Guard slowed down my new PC pretty hard. So I had to uninstall it, then my PC seemed to returned to normal speeds. I didn't even have many other games installed on my 4TB SSD and no extra software at the time to my knowledge. I'm sure this has been talked to death ever since they added it. I'm curious if it is just me or are other people still dealing with the issues from HD2's root level anti-cheat? I hope some day they would remove it or replace it with one that doesn't actually slow your PC down. I even sent in a support ticket just in case it would help, not that I expect it to do anything. I did get a response but seemingly just the typical response of "I will send this to the right people." and "Thank you for your response." Thanks for all the awesome videos ThiccFilA! I mean I don’t think they’re overly easy considering this is just half the units. Sure, they are the easiest faction, but the enemies we do have are really fun to fight and they’ll certainly get more synergy when the other enemies, including more heavies, finally come into the game

@@thiccfila i mean the disconnect bug everyone kept talking about in the official discord, i m one of them i couldn't clear a single mission in multiplayer since the update... i couldn't enjoy the update since it has been out. as soon as you join an illuminate mission if you're not the host you crash 30sec in to 5min in+ it's almost impossible not to crash, i went with a friend to rejoin him in chain and ended with 10 crashes. we can still do bugs or bots without a single problem though. And if you host yourself no one can join, i tried and about 50 people tried to join me and always crashing before even reaching the ground, it's been the same for many players... I talked about it in comment section of some other youtubers doing daily HD2 content but no one ever talk about it.

I just want bolt catches for all weapons FFS. C'mon man the only one in game that has this rn is the medium pen pistol (the 1911 looking one). A bolt catch stops the bolt in the open position when the last round is fired. This would speed up reloads a lot because you replace the mag, and slap a button/switch to close the bolt instead of reaching into the next county for the charging handle to rack the weapon.....and why are all the charging handles SO FAR forward omfg sorry.....gun guy questions I guess :P But seriously though it would speed up reloads. And there's a certain SMG that needs all the help it can get with reload speed omfg why is that so sssllllooowwwww
