Helldivers: Is the Pilot DLC Worth It?

The absolutely best DLC right now is the explorer's. UAV too strong for farming and higher level missions, saves a ton of time. Next in line is the demolitionist, C4 is the strongest antitank option at the moment.

DeathStalker Synchro if your reading this i have some tips you may not know about. If your fighting the Cyborgs the shield pack generator works against the hounds by making them not run at you when the shield pack is on.And also the grenade launcher helps against the Illuminates tripods when they'ere in a group.All it takes is three shots. Hope this helps you.

Ethan Desangles Forgot to get back to you about this but HOLY CRAP! When I tried it out I honestly couldn't believe what I saw. It's like witchcraft or something. This has got to be one of the best Cyborg tips. Practically destroys those damn cyborg hounds spirit to fight. Added to the list of tips and noted your name. I got all the dlc packs when i first got it, and i LOVE the Obsidian exosuit. It does well against a lot (Except tanks) and is just so much fun to use.

The helmet is really practical, just think about it ;) Why do you think Tank pilots don't wear headgear?

+Kirk Cooey exactly, but since they can't ALWAYS be inside the vehicle in this case, they had to give them something. So you give it a big ass visor!

s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/40/d2/f7/40d2f79b55b2ec15a7054d8be462313e.jpg Granted, it's a F-35 fighter jet helmet, but it would make sense in the future for a pilot or operator to have all of their vehicles information ready on hand via their helmet, especially if they're one manned and are as complex as 'mechs. And the light armour look is most likely so the pilot takes as little space inside, typically cramped cockpits, as possible.

The mech is rather Superior to the other two in many ways in my opinion, It does it's job rather well and against bugs i've never had a problem in hard difficulties nor cyborgs when you get the positioning right and light them up.

+David Brown I guess it's a matter of preference. I personally like the Lumberer for its anti-armor capabilities. I mean when that cannon goes off! 😍

We need a perk that auto repairs vehicles when inside them or grants immunity to poisoning and such

The Support Tech is what my helldiver is sport'n...I'm only level 15 but I'll get there sooner or later..I try and get at least an hour or two of gameplay each day since I started playing it last weekend.

gamegoblin1 Keep at it man. Just a heads up though. After Lvl 20, it seems like forever to level again. I know a lot of Lvl 27 players but I just finally hit Lvl 25. Anyone on Lvl 25 and up, I tip my hat to you :)

I haven't bought any of them but the entrenched pack looks like the best, then vehicle, and last probably the pistols

Xpert Sniper I own them- Pistols are definitely good, but the downside is that they take up your perk slot, so it's a toss up. Motorcycle is eh, the tank seems strong, shield is a good alternative to the shield generator, wire fence is good for crowd control, and I haven't tried the turret yet.

Right now you can't, It's only available by completing certain planets against the illuminates.

gamegoblin1 You and me both. Luckily I had some PSN credit from attending the Playstation Live E3 event. It helped dampen the blow. Also you should note there is an additional weapons pack sporting 3 new weapons but as of now it's only available with the physical copy launching in August. Whether or not or when it'll be available is up to Sony not Arrowhead Games. Bummer :'(

gamegoblin1 Dude. I wish. Each of the DLC packs is sold separately. The trailer labels it as the Reinforcement pack 3 but each one (Vehicle pack, Pistols pack, and Entrenched pack) or purchased individually. No bundle this time. Vehicle Pack= $3.99 Entrenched Pack=$2.99 Pistols Pack=$2.99
