@@Woshelyw Assuming, of course, the helldivers don't use their extremely powerful, for grunts, basic equipment that allows for each diver to punch through that armor. If it's a numbers game the Helldivers army would certainly win. If even 20 helldivers go down for every space marine it will still be a crippling loss for the Chapter. You give them too much credit. Quality wont always beat less-expensive-to-mass-produce-while-still-having-the-power-to-punch-through-armor, quantity.

Most Helldivers are recruited from SEAF, which apparently trains them to be proficient in all forms of weapons and able to run long distances while doing so. They’re not untrained fodder, just very inexperienced and very trigger happy. I have no doubts that they would at least be able to March for propaganda purposes.
