Nicks failed charge was heart breaking, reminded me of the LotR:RotK when the gondorian knights charged the orc battlement just to be mowed down. but man, the lethality in this game is wild, both damage and battle shock just decimate units. I can see how units or faction like the Old dominion that ignore battle shock become incredibly difficult to shift.

A few of my Co-Workers are all working on building their armies for this game and occationally poke at me to give it a try. These are the two armies are call to me the most, and you guys always bring such a fun energy to games. I still don't entirely know the rules but I think I'm starting to get it.

Rock and Stone Brothers!! Dwarves Have petty much always been my favorite race in the fantasy settings and ESPECIALLY if said dwarves use massive elaborate ahead-of-time Technology and Powerful relics to stomp all over those who would look to magic or crude brute force to defeat them in battle... So yeah Dweghom scratch that itch just right, I might have to nab an army of my own after this haha! Great Battle report Guys!

Dweghom are so cool, I play dwarves for the middle earth strategy battle game and love the lore and theme of these guys. The way they explain memory and their stubbornness to anything against their perception.

I am an strong advocate of the "Rule of cool" so I was looking forward to seeing more stunning models like the Apex again. The Dweghom totally hit it out of the Park though, I think they might be my aesthetic favorite in the Conquest realm.

My girlfriend loves the dweghom, esp the sorcerers and drake, and I recall us looking at lists like Tycho had, wondering how viable it would be. I guess now we know, and damn, haha. Also, I gotta love Nick, as I too love T'au and "go big or go home" strategies, I just wish I was as gracious in defeat as he.

I still find it crazy that the dwarfs are super magical in this game. Dwarfs and magic are anathema in most settings. The way Conquest shakes up normal faction trends if one of my favorite things about it.

I'm not sure it is actually possible to pick a favorite army in this game. They're all just so cool! Though, I've been eyeing the City States since LVO. I'd really love to see Nick's W'adrhun face off against the phalanxes of the City States.

That card order being key, sometimes you mess it up and its entirely on you... definitely feel that. I still remember playing a Foodchain Goblins MtG deck, getting my combo off, stacking my deck... only to realize I stacked it in exactly the reverse order I needed. Definitely did not win that one...

I really like how Conquest seems more fast pace in comparison to 40k, because you don't have to wait long until it's "your turn" again. With our 40k group we tried to make homebrew rules for 40k with alternating activations, but there still are problems with that, because the rules weren't made for it. I might have to try to convince them to give conquest a try.

Just like Carlos. I absolutely *MUST* bring Conquest LAST ARGUMENT OF KINGS to Brazil. Rank and Flank games are an absolute rarity nowadays, and I think Para bellum has made the best one yet! I discovered the minis before the channel, so in a way, Conquest made me discover Play On and Play On made me discover Conquest. Love you both for it!

GG. YAAAASSSSS, DWARVES. The only thing is that I feel like the Fireforged don't fit in with the rest of the army, but I would definitely use them as proxies for like Votann or somethin. I think Between Tycho rolling High in 40K and Low in Conquest he has managed to balance his luck to be good in all places. XD Would love to get a Dweghom box. Speaking of which, I gotta look at the Dweghom lore.
