Scenery on this table looks superb, with all the fire and smoke it makes the battle very cinematic. It looks like dweghom's home turf, no wonder they were able to prevail! Spire's color scheme also is very nice, hope to see them again.

Great to see more Conquest. Excellent production as usual. Btw. The first turn score wouldn't have happened. Light units don't count for scoring so even with a medium character it's 1 stand (the character) vs. whatever stands of Inferno automata were in range. Neither scores.

Very cool episode. I really like that the Spire army is so like nothing else in any other miniature wargame. Above all, the creepy mist special effects made this feel like some 1980s Schwarzenegger fantasy movie. you guys are awesome.

Curious about this but the online store is a mess. They have a starter set with free expansions, but the expansions have to be found elsewhere and it's not easy. Also, they don't explain enough about the expansions. So I have no idea what to choose when I find it. They really need to redo the store with cleaner and more detailed layout. Have the bundles happen on the one page and include clear explanations on what they are, what they do and why you might want to choose them. You can then follow it it up after they are in the cart with suggested purchases that go with what is already in the cart,.

I gave up on BatReps years ago (40k is *so* overdone) but this LAoK's stuff is gold. Its reignited my love for wargaming. Its short and punchy and you get a few games in over a reasonable time instead of being stuck at a table all day and having to come back the next day to finish the game My only worry is having to paint those ace minis. Conquest uses 38mm models. You could play runewars vs. Runewars using conquest rules, but the base sizes and model sizes means runewars vs conquest wouldn't really work

I really like the design of this weird clone army, it gives me a Morrowind vibe, but the dwarves are just a tad too techy for my fantasy taste lol.
