If you use a legendary hero, you can lower the score multiplier. The second player will complete the same level without legendary heroes and get more points. I think it's a good idea to balance the use of legendary heroes. This will allow for different tactics: someone will use legendary heroes for the sake of speed and getting ahead, and someone will not use them for the sake of getting more points.

Allowing all Lego's to be used means that some of the weaker ones could be utilised in areas they usually wouldn't be used in. It gives people a better understanding of the game mechanics

I love the idea of getting to use legendaries that get pulled. One thing I think is a big issue is the clan aspect. If you really want to level the playing field, have all of the participants have to join the same clan. Otherwise, you put a newbie in a super-powered clan and they get all of the clan benefits that any normal player wouldn't be able to dream of having. Just my two cents if you are looking for more equality in the competition.

I have an idea that might be both different and helpful for mid and late-game players: how about starting the event with slightly more advanced accounts? For example, you could recycle some level 50 accounts you might have. This way, instead of facing the usual beginner challenges, participants could focus on more advanced goals, like reaching Gold 1 in Tag Team Arena to unlock Ramantu. I hope you’ll consider this for this year or in the future. Thank you for everything you do for the community!

I don't like seeing Lego champs used as 5* chickens. If you get lucky on pulls, then you get lucky. Make all champs available as long as they are ftp. Balance the scores evenly across content and one champ shouldn't win the whole competition.

What about going back to randomly generated starter champ, and then pick the Epic promo code from a set pool of options? The catch: 1. make a list of all the CCs taking part 2. the CC below you in the list gets to randomly generate your starter! (so no.2 rolls for the 1st player in the list, then no.3 rolls for no.2, etc, etc.... with the 1st player in the list generating the final player's starter) Imagine the possible chirping for those who get handed Galek as their starter by a rival player?!

If you do large cc teams, something that could be fun is basically having everyone in that team have to choose the same starting champ. Then you can have a bit of a competition even within those teams.

it is ftp so i feel the only limitation should be it is ftp. No ftp player will NOT use legendaries they pull. does that increase the rng yes, but again some luck goes a long way which is part of ftp life

On one hand, yes, luck is a huge part of the game. But on the other hand, it's a competition and you want the person with the best f2p strategies to win, not the guy that pulls a god tier legendary on day 1 and smashes everyone with that momentum

@@shadowside6969 Obviously, you can't ever fully remove luck from any competition, but this year most of the value came in the starting promo code epic they used and even people that got supremely unlucky (like Deadwood starting with Miscreated Monster and pulling 4 more copies of him) had a great run because the discrepancy is way smaller between top tier epics and mid tier epics than between top tier legendaries and mid leggos or no leggos at all. By removing the biggest luck gap, you level the playing field as much as you can. It's never going to be 100% perfectly fair, but you should try to get it as close as you can

It just skews the competition way too much... I got bored as gak with the 2023 FtP challenge after the first couple of weeks, simply because it became so stupid how a couple players got insanely lucky leggo pulls a few days in, while others like Hades ended up nearly going into mercy and then pulled a middling leggo No Legendaries or Mythicals from shards, and NO MONKEYKING promo code!!

Im only a few months into the game so wasnt around for the last FTP challenges, but have watched the last two back in full, and find it really interesting as a new player, and very excited to watch this one live. I do think its more interesting when you use legendaries as its more of a real experience and its interesting to see how the account progress is different based on what legendaries you pull or dont pull. I'm nearly 120 days into my account and have only pulled one really useful lego, which is Jintoro, and I do feel like my whole account is built around him, and its interesting to see how a different pull could have changed what I can and cant do in the game.

I have a suggestion: Since not being able to use legendary pulls seemed a bit rough in 2024, a nice twist (but maybe too much work for Saphh?) would be "only use legendary champions if they are FULLY BOOKED", that would make a real challenge (maybe excluding free-legos like last year?) This is only a suggestion, it could be perfected; I think that rule was the fun part of 2024, because new strategies were implemented and some epics rised to the challenge.

To be different than 2024, I suggest utilizing lego but making it harder by spinning to determine which affinity will be allowed. This way, it will be more exciting.

For FTP 2025, maybe using legendaries is fine, but for recording each best performance maybe each month having 1 more legendary allowed on the recorded team. (1 Lego month 1, 2 Lego month 2, 3 Lego month 3) This way if youre obscenely lucky and pull multiple legendaries, you still have some advantage of being able to clear for better gear and the such, but for your "competition" performance you would have a bit more equal playing ground

It would be a funny and actually good idea if the promo code were random. It would be cool if the drawing happened during your stream or a video, and that's when the FTP would officially start. You could have all the content creator names in a pot, and the ones that get picked could be entered into a generator. This would increase the suspense about who gets what, making it even more exciting!

I loved the 2024 restriction on pulled legendaries because it really opened up a ton of strategy and it showed a lot of really smart people doing really smart stuff to get fusions done, or to get progress in every area without relying on getting lucky on getting the best legendary for certain content. It made for a much more interesting competition than it was before, watching someone roll Elva on day 1 and have a gigantic lead on everyone else that was almost impossible to come back from (no flame to DWJ, I love the man and he's exceptionally smart and really entertaining to watch and it was obviously not his fault that he got lucky, but it made a lot of that series very one sided)

Plarium released an update recently and Mac can’t update and the game wont run anymore. Looked up the error message and it’s not the first time this had happened. Hopefully they get it fixed before FTP challenge so people don’t get limited.

I think Lucky dip for starter champion & promo linked codes, but then you get to pick which 72 hour promo code champion you can use. That should give you some option based on how your lucky dip rolls for your beginning team

Natural draw Legendaries should be totally allowed as most players will get that spawny pull early that ramps up your game (mine was Ma'Shalled, oh deary me...) I would ban using Wukong as a starter simply because it could potentially flatline the competition as everyone will end up building different monkeys for points rather than embracing the full joy of the RNG...

Legos are part of the game!! I’m not a fan of the promo code legos, like wu kong is an instant carry. I vote for just limiting how many you can use. For example: Maybe you can only use one per team comp. This would incentivize building epics to fill out rosters anyway cause you could never have more than 1. Or you can pick 1 or 2 to be your feature legos for the entire account. Realistically, free to play accounts would be maximizing what they get anyway. How about only maxing the first you pull? Add a little luck into the mix. I think there are plenty of ways to add legos and keep the contest balanced.

The new account codes not working like before in Plarium Play PC too.. I tried to reinstall with clean uninstall on my pc and laptop, and it doesnt work anymore. So you need a new device or else try luck with emulators (I dont use them and recommend them personally :) )

Here's a new challenge for FTP Series: After your first 6star, you can only 6star Mythic & Legendary when you have at least a 6star soul for them. For Epic, you only need 5star soul, and for Rares, only need 4star soul.

I'd like these to be challenging and less RNG dependent. Everyone likes legendaries but one lucky early pull can carry an account, even getting a good epic can massively give an advantage. I would like to see everyone has to start with the same starter champ, preferably the worst Galek, afterall he is the face of the game. No promo champs, everyone ends up with the same ones which makes it less fun because people will just pick the best available. No legendaries/mythicals as luck/RNG makes too much of a difference, including no leggo log in champs or fusions. Rare or lower only would be fun to see what kind of teams people come up with, most rares are easily obtained so could lead to a diverse set of teams but I feel like most people wouldn't want that, it would make it more challenging though. 3 months is very short considering the content in the game now but understandable as people get bored too quick to see it out but 6 months might be better to cover more content. I enjoy these FTP challenges but they need to be a challenge and not just a bog standard new account hoping to get early luck. Some rules/limitations make them more fun to do, in my opinion.

All content creators use the same promo code to start. Or no promocode to start. If this was a "teach a new player how to play" promocodes are good to use and promote. But this is NOT a series for beginners, so limiting everyone to their starter champ (or the same promocode) at least levels the initial playing field.
