south korean here, to explain the situation briefly, although we do not have any dictatorship here and citizen's freedom is well established, stereotyping against gamers is pretty crazy PLUS there is a national comittee that can singlehandedly decide the rating of a game(originally it was established to prohibit gambling games), and they can actually block a game(as you see from the video). now this might look pretty similar with other country, after all adults only rated games have a heavy disadvantage on selling the game, but remember this is a national comittee so even if its on steam they get to block it, and they are ubsurdly strict and have double standard all the time so korea is the one of the only countries that adult games are blocked on steam, along with china. considering this situation it is no surprise they blocked the game.

As I played Roblox for years I could play almost every game I wanted to play but this days I have to use VPN to play blocked games. I’m scared for the future that South Korea and Roblox will block many games from me and others. 😢

HELLMET has ‘depictions of realistic violence, blood, and sounds when being attacked by a firearm’, and this doesn’t comply with the South Korean GRAMMC regulations on realistic depictions on violence, so this resulted in the game being blocked in that region. Don’t worry though, Sensei_Developer is working on getting this issue resolved.
