Hi Lyndsey. This was such a lovely calming video to start my day. I had the same 2023. New house last March so full on chaotic decorating and house organising. As much as I loved it, this year is going to be about slowing down, being present and enjoying all the little things 💕🙏🏻

Elephants breath is dark, ok for a feature wall. I love Skimming stone, it’s more of a putty colour, so cottage classy. I get colour match and love the Johnson paint. Also love strong white.

Lovely video as usual Lynsey and happy new year to you both. I would say a mirror above the console would look lovely in the living room, the large dunelm framed artwork above the sofa on the wall and another ladder for throws by the side of media unit xx

Lyndsey why don't you paint the back opposite wall in your lounge the same colour as the media wall, this would warm up your room and add interest . Painted panneling would look fabulous.

Drill the holes for the sconces lights before you paint and double check all the parts are in there and may I suggest you toy with 1watt 2watt warm bulbs I have sconces by my bed and the low wattage was the only way to go and others have ended up doing the same especially with the glass shade and pick a good shaped bulb I also looked at those there gorgeous ,also I think elephants breath is gorgeous and your right with your feeling about the white against the white furniture with the white ceiling you need a colour that’s not too bright

Ok the mirror just check back and see where the sun hits that wall my mirror was basically on that wall opposite the window and I noticed smoke whilst getting ready and the sun was hitting the mirror and setting fire to my cushions on my bed , I’m now so mindful about glass and mirrors opposite windows or where the sun hits and glass on window sills
