This song has remained one of my favorite songs for the 12 years it's been out. I was dealing with depression and a heartbreak at the time and I still remember to this day that this songs touched a part of my heart that i didn't think was accessible. This song makes me feel that emotion I felt so long ago and it still feels amazing to hear this song. Still my top 5 favorite song. You might not know this, because I haven't said it out loud but to maybe one person, but when I discovered this song, my Memaw had just passed away not long before this song. I was a delivery driver at the time with no real radio, but I kept one earphone in to hear my music. When I heard this song, I almost broke down in tears and still do. I know it was meant to be funny, but it just sounds to me like my Memaw and Pawpaw just having one last conversation. At least in my mind anyway, because at the end she didn't know who any of us were. So thank you. Thank you so much for making this no matter the intention.
