The new Escape looks so much better than the outgoing one imho. Hopefully it is less of a pile of junk too. My friend had a 2013 and the AWD system suffered catastrophic failure at 110k and she junked it.

Welcome to the Upper Midwest Garrison! You definitely will soon find out why they call Chicago the “Windy City”! Definitely prepare yourself for the winter! I hope that everything will work out well for you in your career path! I am still enjoying my 2019 Camry XSE with just 16,XXX miles on it. Excellent fuel economy still as well as awesome performance for the 4 cylinder engine! I will always wish you my personal best for you in every way! Looking forward to seeing more updates! Your neighbor Mark in southeast Iowa.

I'm surprised to see that the new car is not from 2021 unless if the car shortage makes you have one from 2020 instead. 19 inch wheels seem big for the escape when 18 inch size already looks big on my subaru outback even if it's from 2018. The car shortage is something I have seen for the first time and the proof is seeing low selection of inventory for new and used vehicles on the lot along with higher price tags.

Well big congrats on the job, Garrison! I hope everything is going smoothly so far, as well as going forward! Also, welcome to Chicago! (Make sure you enjoy some of the beautiful fall foliage before the winter lol - Chicago Botanic Garden is always nice)

Congrats on the new ride!!! I know how 3 Series values can go... we had a '14 F30 328i xDrive with 96k miles on it. It ended up being totalled, and was only worth about $12k on the retail market. We ended up getting a '18 F15 X5 xDrive35i to replace the F30, and it's an awesome ride. :)

Nice replacement!

@@ThinkOutsideTheCube I know! We had a Volvo XC90 (one of the X5's main competitors) as a rental for about a month while we were waiting for the insurance, and she loved it, but still wanted a BMW. My neighbors have had X5's for years, and always talk about how much they like theirs, so it was a no brainer. We got ours CPO from a BMW dealership for a great deal with only 17k miles on the odometer (it has about 22k now, with my mom driving it everyday).

Potential gunshots? Fireworks? Lol, try gunshots all night every night. Democrat shithole. Cool working for Ford tho..also put 4 fully winter dedicated tires on it for that snow, not all seasons, and your winter driving will be extremely more capable and easier to handle.

When you say company vehicle you do realize that means it’s not actually your car it’s not in your name so putting that sticker and what not they could charge you
