I love Yeongja but the comments she made in regards to HSC not understanding the man's stance on his relationship just because he is homosexual was beyond ignorant. Just because he is not straight does not mean that he doesn't understand a man, has Yeongja forgotten the fact that he is STILL A MAN regardless of sexual orientation? Yeongja would find it rather offensive if someone told her she couldn't comment from a woman perspective on a woman just because she carried herself very masculine or could not relate well with other women giving advice or opinion because she no longer had understanding of women? It's a double standard and that's not okay. I hope Yeongja apologized to HSC after the show that was really rude, and HSC is a very kind hearted person, he doesn't deserve that.

2nd concern is being taken advantage by the family. He's working for 3 people at 3 different places, but only getting paid from one job, not counting the side babysitting for his main employer. Compensating him with food or meal is not the same as compensating him with money. This is embarrassing for that family, lol

Just started the episode and URGH. I swear, HSC must have such a control of his nerves. the first concern breaks my heart, the husband seems so kind and lovely, i understand the wife can't stand it anymore, but in a couple, there is a real need to understand each other and to share what's going wrong. Some of her behaviors are pretty rude.

Then, you forgive the person, accept the excuse or whatever story they tell you just to have them do it so many times that you lose count? You start to slowly not see the person in the same way and lose a little bit of respect. That's what happened to the wife. Not excusing her because she was wrong to put him down in front of friends, family and their kids. She was especially wrong for deleting his phone number; however, I can understand where the negative attitude towards her husband is stemming from. I, also, understand the husband keeps talking because he wants to know when speaking she's acknowledging him, his thoughts, ideas and words.

+Happy Martini You got the the situation 100% that's also how I understood it. It annoyed me that so many people where saying oh she's horrible she's ignoring him and she blocks his calls. Yes she could have dealt with the situation better but she also was constantly having to deal with the consequences at work and home and it built up for her too. The husband also needs to be considerate if he wants to be heard, they both need to fix issues that they have one should listen and the other shouldn't give empty promises or should be considerate of the person and speak to them at appropriate times not waking someone up at 1am wth. Consideration of each other is the biggest help in a relationship.

The second concern made me so angry " we think of him as family" if I hear that line one more time omg.1st he isnt family is he and 2nd you shouldnt treat family like that like they're just a matter of fact to you. In fact you should treat family the best they're the people who were and should always be with you u don't just over work them and use them when u want that's so selfish everyone is and individual. if you're going to ask him then pay him generously and also make sure he's happy with it if he doesn't want to do it then leave him alone, he signed up for a cafe not a family business gosh.

Hate it when men say, "I'm a man" thus they get competitive or "I'm the head of the house/family", implying that them being a male ultimately makes them the head. Men should stop crediting themselves so much. If you don't have a job and are not doing much, even if you are a male you don't deserve the title of "head". I don't know why they made out like that last concern was about back scratching. It was VERY obvious from the comments he made he didn't value his wife as a caregiver at all. He doesn't even class raising a child alone as a workload. He said himself "I work 10 hours a day, how dare she?" Making out like she sits at home all day then has the nerve to reject his proposal of wasting 30- 1hr and a half looking at his back every night. He has some kind of superiority complex and if he thinks he can buy her love and happiness I can only HOPE he'll learn the hard way.

The man in the first concern isn't a saint, stop making the wife out to be evil. They're a couple that are having a hard time connecting and understanding each other. The wife isn't giving him enough attention and really listening to what he's saying. He's being childish and spiteful by continuously talking, never giving her a moment of peace, and calling her so often that it's affecting her work. It's just a couple failing to understand each other.

Whenever I watch Hello Counselor, I think... if people only had access to this show and no other show from South Korea, they would, falsely, think most South Koreans, primarily men, are selfish and inconsiderate. Then, I think of American talks shows like Maury Povich and think if people only had access to that show and no other show from America, they would think most women here have no idea who fathered their child(ren).... haha.

For the first concern, they're both at fault. I mean, it is a concern for the wife, because the husband talks so much that she barely has time for herself, and it interrupts her work. It'll feel suffocating and annoying to feel like someone's clinging to you the whole time. He should cut down on calling her and sending her texts. It's nice to ask how she's doing but don't pressure her or ask too much. And the wife keeps bringing him down, like I know that he said he's going to do this and that but doesn't do it, but it's partly because she's telling him that he can't do it, so he feels like she's bringing him down and he won't feel motivated to do it. She said she replies to him but it's always nagging, and she never really listened to him sincerely. When he tells her about his day, even though it's always bad, she should listen to him and comfort him the way she used to when they dated, and not tell him that he's going to have a bad day again tomorrow because I'm sure that won't feel nice to hear before you go to sleep. I understand that it can get pretty repetitive and boring especially when things are always negative but like the guest said, they're both expecting each other to change when they themselves should change as well. In order for a relationship to work, both sides need to sacrifice something and also gain something. She needs to listen to him, respect him and talk nicely. He needs to cut down on the talking and texting and give her some time for herself.

the first concern, i can totally understand, from the husband's point of view. i once did the same thing, i showed affection but not by talking too much, i just care about her, ask her if she's okay, or how was her day and stuff like that. but she just pushed me away, got mad at me for no reason and when i asked her why, she said, it's because i'm someone who is close to her, and she's having a bad day, more like bad moments, and i should suffer too. she talked down to me, she embarrassed me in front of others. the worst part was, i didn't give up. i still care for her. it's depressing, really.

I understand the wife's frustration in the first concern. I'm a very talkative person, but when I'm tired, or I just woke up...I don't want to hear a thing. People can babble for hours and it just pissed me off. However, her husband seemed genuine in wanting to talk with her. In my experiences, many men don't want to talk with their wives. My mom loves having conversations, and my dad was always quiet. And overtime, him not talking to her distanced them. I'm not on either of their sides, but they should each work on understanding one another. On another note...If I was in the audience at that time, I would punch the third concern's husband. UGH! Men like that piss me off. It's the 21st century.

I don’t know about this guy but my man act same way but he asked me before he sleep .. to scratch his back! I try to understand him maybe he was needed mom attention when he was a kid ?
