Notice the difference when it's a man who has a weight problem than when its a woman. The wife is up there crying and worrying about their future...while a husband in the same situation, "motivates" his wife by being hard on her, embarrassing her and degrading her.

While it does happen that the in-laws expect the wife to take care of her husband, in this case, I think its simply him being in denial and trying to push the blame onto his wife instead of taking the responsibility. He just doesn't want to admit that it's his own fault that he's as fat as he is now.

I agree with what you said as we've seen many people in Hello Counselor with weight issues and mean relatives. But the way the wife described the husband here was just so out of place too. Calling anyone a pig is offensive whether a man or a woman and everyone was just laughing. So yeah when men and women have weight issues the reactions are different but I still don't think men should be offended in such a way either. If the situation was reversed and he would have called her a pig, then I can imagine how the reactions would be...

Sharon Thomas It wasn't just one husband, it's been quite a few, and then there was that girl that was average weight, maybe less, who's mother and sister were saying horrible things to her, who still didn't realize to the end that they could be breaking her down emotionally instead of giving "tough love" motivation

It's because U-Kiss's song wasn't released yet. Their song was released just two weeks ago, this episode aired on regular KBS two weeks ago, but episode are recorded in the studio in advance so there's no way She's Mine could've been released yet. It's the same thing with KARA a while back, they went on the show and couldn't promote their song because it hadn't been released yet.

4 minutes into this episode and I'm really disappointed UKISS didn't get to promote, they were either ignored or the footage got cut. To people who's saying KISSMEs are sensitive, you're so wrong. I'm not saying this is an Idol show whatever not, Iv'e watched this show every week for the concerns and this is truly a great show. I don't expect UKISS to get lots of screen time either. I just think they should've promoted their song, if they were ignored it's wrong if the footage got cut I still think it's wrong. I rather less screen time than no introduction. I get that UKISS isn't popular, but to get treated this way is a little too much. Even Kangnam (M.I.B) was kinda ignored in Hello Counselor at the very least he got to promote he's song. Just saying my opinion and not just because we're upset means we're sensitive etc etc etc :l I'm going to continue watching till the end now, peace.

Okay I actually watched the beginning of the episode and I am so disappointed that U-kiss' performance was cut out. I get that U-kiss is not popular in Korea but honestly a small snippet of She's Mine. This episode is only one hour and four minutes compared to other episodes which are like 1 hour and 10 or so minutes so there isn't much of an excuse for cutting out their performance. Nest time, please treat all of you guests with cordiality :)
