An idea: Roll a D6. If 1: Only SMB If 2: only nsmb speedruns If 3: only smb3 If 4: only SMW If 5 only NSMB If 6: Ryus choice Dice is rolled only at the beginning of the run. Another idea is to roll after each level is completed to determine what type of level is played next.

Sometimes I wish they had a dislike button for some of these stupid levels. I think you should have some kind of mercy rule, like be able to skip one level, or be able to skip any level of a particular type (pick-a-pipe, japanese new-sup speed runs, puzzles, etc). You pick which type of level you're allowed to skip and then then you skip them when they come up.

Super expert isn't about being hard, it's about being unfair. Only one path that only the Dev knows, full of pipes that lead to instant death. Stages full of RNG randomnesses with hidden Dev exits. It's entertaining to watch Ryu play it, but not as entertaining to play yourself. If they relied on skill, platforming, it would be different.
