Hello Inspector - old marathi serial title track by RaJas Unplugged

This was my most favorite serial since childhood. Even after hunting for its title track on the web for ages, I couldn't find it at all, so I decided it to do it myself :))

You got it WRONG bro! The "Hello hello" is supposed to be OFF BEAT...not the way you whistled it. THAT was the highlight of the tune. It also has 3 descending major seventh arpeggios of C, B flat and A flat an absolutely UNIQUE sounding combination back then. A fabulous composition without a doubt.

Thanks a lot Rajas for uploading this track. I was looking for this song for a long time.(Dudhachi tahan takavar) I remember watching this serial as a kid. Ramesh Bhatkar played the title role in the serial. It was produced by Adhikari Brothers. However your credit titles suggest that the composer of the song is Mahesh Naik which is incorrect. This song was composed by Arun Paudwal. The lyricist of the song is Shantaram Nandgaonkar.

The song is also sung by a singer called Annet alongwith Suresh Wadkar. Mr. Arun Paudwal used the same tune for one of his hindi songs from movie 'Meera ka Mohan'. You can check out the song ' Mere liye jaruri pyar tera' from the movie sung by Anuradha Paudwal & Kumar Sanu for reference.

Good effort Rajas...but the rhythm pattern and tempo are not the same as the original tune. Also, there is some jugglery between "off" beat and "on" beat. All your "Hellos" are "on" beat whereas that's NOT the case in the original. That tune is VIVID in my memory till date though I am still searching for the original...in vain for the last 25-30 years. I thought the tune was composed by Bappi Lahiri and not Arunji...I may be wrong here, but certainly NOT on the rhythm and "off-beat" pointers.

Sarvesh Walia thanks for your honest feedback. I totally agree that the original song presentation is bit different. We always try to present unplugged versions hence tend to take some Creative liberty without destroying the innate beauty of the song. Also I am 100% sure it’s Arunji. He in fact used this tune again in one of the Bollywood movies ‘Meera ka Mohan’ .... song is mere liye jaroori pyar tera
