Oh my GD's lived in Okinawa so they love love Hello Kitty. So when it first came out I purchased a set for my GD's and then one for me. I also got that egg chair. All so cute and so reasonably priced! Thank you for sharing. Most times I would never know about these things to check often. It was so fun to see you open them. Thank you so much!

Eeeeeeeeeee!!!! I’ve adored Hello Kitty since I was 6 and these designs are ADORABLE - too bad about low quality fabric, and 1-piece dresses that should be 2-piece outfits.

Came back to say I got all the outfits. They are adorable. Yes disappointing that AG is a little bit chubby for the outfits . But I have the ILY Disney line and they are adorable on the dolls and fit perfectly on ILY . Since they were economical I did not mind the inexpensive material, and the shoes it ILY perfectly. Thank you ❤

I purchased the last dress because I wanted the celebration banner 😅 since Hello Kitty was released 50 years ago 🎉 I think both birthday or anniversary is acceptable it’s up to the individuals preference. As for the other outfits, thank you so much for sharing ❤ sadly they are not what I was hoping for. I had such high hopes for the pink houndstooth outfit but will not be purchasing. I agree with you children will absolutely Love them but as an adult collector I’ll pass . However it’s worth mentioning that I have some of the original outfit releases from several years ago and although not AG quality they are definitely better than this current release. I think a lot of companies have been cutting corners hoping we will just continue to go along. Other doll lines have tried this in the past & it’s always been their undoing.

Well, they cam raise prices or lower the quality. AG raised their prices, MLA lowered the quality…

The pull over outfit was my favorite outfit. I like the mask, pillow and slippers for the pj set. I would use the pj pants as swim pants because of the fabric. The last dress is not my favorite

Looks like dollar tree quality. I already ordered these outfits for my daughter for Christmas otherwise I wouldn't buy now that I know the quality looks like that.

I went to check them out in store the pj's were so gross! I was so disappointed. I won't be getting any of it due to quality.

Yep, that’s my issue too. But they photograph so well… I would easily pay $20 for the same outfits if the quality was decent.

The fabric is so cheap and thin I don't buy ML outfits. Not worth the price to me. I love Hello Kitty and purchase the accessory sets instead because they are cheaper (price-wise). I got the slippers in one set (no pjs) and added elastic to hold them on the doll. Also, the bows were cut from pink felt so I removed those and added pink ribbon ones. Don't remember all that I got in the two sets that I bought but know one came with Hello Kitty teacups and plates. The plates just had stickers on them so not really that good. I just wished that the hot chocolate in the teacups was removable. It's the same with AG glasses and coffee cups, too not just with My Life and Our Generation items. I just want empty coffee cups and glasses. I also got a purse and shoes in a different set. The shoes are red glitter (think Wizard of Oz) so not as bad as the boots. Due to how cheap some of the items look it has taken me a while to get a few Hello Kitty accessories (I also have a pillow) to decorate a Hello Kitty bedroom. I have a different brand of Hello Kitty pjs that is much nicer and Hello Kitty material (Walmart fat quarter bundle) to make bedding and a quilt. Currently Hobby Lobby has a lot of HK items. I bought a large (for AG dolls) stuffed HK doll. It would be about 18 to 24 inches in human size.

Those pajamas I know look cute but they’re an absolute sin the way they are constructed and material that they used. It’s like they knew they could do whatever they wanted because it said hello Kitty, and that they were instant.Magic words. Collectors would buy it because of the name and little kids would want them because they look so cute. I just can’t get over the inferior quality of the fabric. AG needs to clean up its act and get back to a higher quality fabric. Sometimes I think the highest quality fabric is on the our generation. When I was in the 14 and 16 inch market with dolls madame Alexander always had the best clothes not only did they look fabulous. They were made fabulous and the fabric was fabulous. It’s just so sad.
