Hello Neighbor (Full GAME) Longplay Playthrough Gameplay (All ways to escape + out of map + Secrets)

Ok so this is basically for all the people who want to know the ENTIRE story, including all of the books. (Correct me if I’m wrong). Short version; So Nicky ends up in Raven Brooks after moving so many times, making about zero friends, so he is kinda used to that now. Except for when he meets Aaron and Mya. They basically make his life better by being good friends of his. But the one thing that terrifies him is Aaron’s dad (Theodore Peterson). As normal kids, Aaron and Nicky pick locks and get into trouble. A little bit before Nicky comes, Aaron and Mya pass the time at their home by playing hide and seek. After Nicky meets Aaron, while Nicky was out, Aaron and Mya play hide and seek again while their dad and mom are out. They’re parents haven’t come back yet and it is past their dinner (This is when the mom dies). While Nicky hasn’t seen Aaron in a while, Aaron blames Mya for their moms death and starts to get physical (They play hide and seek until Aaron takes Mya’s doll). This is when Aaron accidentally pushes Mya off the roof and she falls to her death. A couple days later Nicky finally sees Aaron at their moms funeral asking where Mya is because she is nowhere to be seen. This is when Nicky sees Aaron’s dad go crazy and Aaron asks Nicky to leave and never come back. This makes Nicky worried. In the middle of the night, Nicky hears a scream and sees Aaron’s window smashed and a note that they always leave each other blowing in the wind. Nicky runs to that note and it says, “I make bad things happen,” This refers to Aaron accidentally killing his sister and many other bad things. Like if you want a full version

With Hello Neighbor Hide and seek you understand. In the older days Peterson, his wife, and his kids were very happy. Until one day that the Dad and the Mother went out, they crashed into a pizza truck. Peterson went his wife to the hospital but she passed away. He returned and told the kids what happened. Mya was very sad but the boy was super angry. He continued playing hide n seek with his sister. In Hide and seek, the one before the last he dressed as a fire. Remember that. In the last Hide n seek he took her doll. He went to the roof and he pushed the sister of the roof. That's how she died. Mr. Peterson locked the ladder so nothing else like this happens. He locked his son in the basement so no one could say that he murdered his sister. The son was super angry. In act 2 in the basement, the boy opens the door because he knows how bad it is. Nicky was just curious because he was a kid and Peterson locked him in the basement too cause he was afraid of what you were going to tell the others. When Nicky grew up he returned to his old house. Thats another story. You remember the three keys, the three minigames and the shadow? These are all connected. The three locks in the basement in the end of act 1 represent three of his fears. Act 4 is actually a dream to win his fears. The shadow represents all of his fears and the biggest one. The Neighbor himself. The Neighbors house was burned by the son. When he wins the three minigames (1 is the supermarket, 2 is a bully from the school and 3 is... I am not sure what) the same door doesn't have the locks anymore. Also the big house in the dream is just because a kids imagination is huge. The Shadow is the Nicks fear. As he protects his self as a kid he gets bigger and bigger and bigger than the shadow. Stronger than his fear. Big fear = Big Neighbor. Nick wins his fear bla bla bla. At the end you see your own exit from sadness. But The Neighbor cannot access his exit from sadness because he cannot accept it. That's why he will always be sad and never have a happy life again. You go through the exit and have a happy life. My thoughts are that the protagonist, when he was little, broke into the neighbor's house and went into the basement to see what was in there, only to be kidnapped. An unknown amount of time later, the son of the neighbor, who was hinted to be what he locked in the basement at the beginning, freed the protagonist but instead chose to stay out of fear or because he simply didn't want to leave due to a combination of Stockholm syndrome, where captives end up not wanting to leave their kidnappers due to bonding with them, as well as the fact that his father is the only family he has, and he's adjusted to his new life. The protagonist escapes and returns home to his family where presumably, he tells the story to his parents upon reuniting with them, and the neighbor is arrested, his son is rescued or is never found, and the house is eventually torn down and the ruins become dilapidated. The protagonist and his family presumably move due to the events of the first two acts. When the protagonist is older, he goes to his old family home because I guess maybe his family doesn't live anywhere nearby anymore. Seeing the ruins of the neighbor's house stirs up old emotions and memories and feelings of his experience being kidnapped, with the shadow man being a figment of his imagination and an objectification of his fears. When he goes to bed that night, the rest of the game is a nightmare he has, where he eventually learns to conquer that fear and put the past, and the horrible things he had to go through, finally behind him, as the neighbor is gone, and he can start a new life in his old family home, which his family likely either still owns, or the protagonist will try to buy for really cheap due to the condition that the house is in.

my theory for this game is that in the graveyard you see a silhouette of the mother (as shown in both the picture from this game and the newest game i cannot remember the name of :\) on a grave stone leading me to think that its quite simple on what happened. the mother died (the gravestone) in the car accident as shown in one scene of this game and then the husband (the neighbor not the player) began abusing his children. and he kept them locked away as shone by the missing posters and soon after it i think they get taken away which then when the mans older (him moving to the house) which brings back memories of the horrible abuse he received from his father after his mothers death. but then when he sees his own father with the screaming child that is why the game begins and ends. you want to end the cycle of abuse which explains the ending of the entire game. no it isn't satanic rituals or inner demons its simple abuse from a angered and hurt father. the end shows that you have ended the entire abuse and then you wake up from the dream. so pretty much it is a house of memories that the neighbor lives in. thanks for reading this theory (if you do care) please like if ya want! this took me awhile so let me know your theories as well! i'm interested in hearing them :)

The story is: They were a normal family but one day, the neighbor and his wife got in a car accident, the wife sadly passed away, and the neighbor survived, the son when complete bonkers in the head and pushed the daughter off the house, so it’s just the son and the neighbor, so the neighbor locks the son up in the basement (that’s all the screaming in the basement), for both of their saftey, but the neighbor doesn’t want anyone knowing about the son being left locked up, so he just puts up “missing” posters for both of the kids.
