I'm going to quickly make a timeline of all of the mainline story details of Hello Neighbor, these include Hello Neighbor, Hello Neighbor hide and seek, Hello Neighbor 2 and Welcome to Raven Brooks. 1. Hello Neighbor Hide and seek. 2. Welcome to Raven Brooks. (maybe? Some of it is quite surreal and fits very weirdly with the events of Hello Neighbor 2 so it's difficult to tell) 3. Hello Neighbor 2. 4. Hello Neighbor. (act 1 and 2 are imaginary recreations of past events inside of Nicky's mind and act 3 is him finally coming to terms with his trauma and finally move on) I honestly like that the end of the first game is the end of the timeline because it means that the story ends on a nice hopeful note about moving on from the past.

@@DrSeaDevil from what I understand, Search & Rescue (and Secret Neighbor, technically, despite not being canon) take place between Act 1 and 2. If I'm right with my research Aaron was the one to save Nicky in Act 2's beginning, where we can see the Boy Cardboard Cutout "rescuing" Nicky. Some parts of the scenario don't add up, namely Nicky directly meeting up with Aaron, escaping and meeting with his friends back at the Treehouse (Judging by the Credits sequence) rather than Nicky seeing a cardboard cutout and later returning to his house. However, it's likely that the scenery in Hello Neighbor 1 was retconned, judging by the fact that S&R lines up more with the animated series, with Theodore getting arrested (though in Search and Rescue he's escaping from the police in the credits sequence.)

Hello neighbor’s son was jerk yeah he lost his mom but so did his sister Ik we all go through stages of grief but his sister tried being nice over and over again and in return he basically pushed her, shot here with a toy gun, and stole from her. So he doesn’t deserve to get I dunno a redemption arc (comment if you agree but you don’t have to😊)
