It might be, but I think it’s more dedicated to the town secrets and backstory, because we learn about Trinitys backstory in season 2 it seems like, and we see mayak, Lucy Yi and a lot do the guest storyline, or we both are right

@@Masked721 you are mostly correct. There is a few ways the writers can go about this show. One way, they could make this season about the Forest protectors using the Guest. (We can tell the guest is still under their influence since he delivers the coin to Trinity). By the end of Season 2, the guest might escape their influence and in season 3 it could be about stopping him. Another way, is that they could stop the guest and the cult this season and season 3 will be about HN Act 3 although this is highly unlikely.

No, it was (technically) always confirmed. Season 2 is episodes 7-12 and there was 18 episodes in just one season originally, but they split it into 3 seasons instead, so each season has 6 episodes
