Very interesting video. I am looking at the road rim brake version to upgrade from my Campag Vento wheels on my steel Mercian. Your wheels should come up a bit lighter compared to the 1660g Ventos and most importantly I can have silver spokes to sparkle in the sun. And anodized hubs too. Just need to decide on the colour. Have subscribed to you

They'll definitely come up lighter for sure and - depending on the choice of rim - I can often offer them in polished silver rim options too; get in touch direct via email or the contact form on the website and let me know which options you're thinking and I can let you know if I've access to said silver rims; they'd work so well on the Mercian! I'm away on Holiday until Mon 20th November; will reply from then on :-)

@RyanBuildsWheels thank you, I'll be in contact via e-mail once you are back. I can send you a picture of the Mercian so you can get an idea when I drop you an e-mail. The frame was built 10 years ago to remind me of the sort of bike I used to race on in the 80's, so I don't object to black rims as I used to use the Mavic GP4 rim back in the day with silver spokes. The rest of the kit on the bike is black Campagnolo. My main issue is whether to go for the lighter rim or the more aero one. Anyhow, enjoy your holiday and I'll be back in contact shortly. The bike is now put to bed for the winter, so I'm not in a mad rush.

What do you recommend for campag 8 speed freehub body? Can't imagine bitex do a hub for that?
