I live in Rotkreuz which is just a few miles from Luzern, and I can tell you the train and scenery look scarily realistic. The only thing I wish for is some other traffic and train types. The line is usually filled with other trains and it seems weird to only see the s-bahn stock at Luzern main station. Hopefully they add some more trains and route expansions around Luzern :D

I’ll give on tip, before the departure (if it’s possible) set the words that appear outside above the cabin, because “Geschlossen“ means “closed”, and normally there is written the next stop, hope I helped with a little thing hahaha😉

I actually experienced a few platform overshoots in the early 2000s here in Sydney, Australia. Of the two I remember, one of them the train overshot by 4 carriages or so (of an 8 car train). We backed back on to the platform as you did. For the other, I think we only overshot by a carriage or so. The train guard only unlocked the door for the carriages that were on the platform and asked the passengers to move backwards to alight. All this stopped after an disastrous derailment in 2003.

39:18 Probably because irl there would be a train standing there - swiss regional train schedules are constructed to ensure quick connections to other regional trains and express trains, that's also why there are quite a lot of S-Bahn Routes - some work as regional express trains as well and ensure a high frequency of trains and maximum convenience for commuters.

I live at Geneva, Switzerland and we have these trains, I can tell you that it’s really realistic like the real thing ^^. I literally took it yesterday. I hope you’ll be able to travel Gare Cornavin (Geneva) to Lausanne or further in the train one day :p

Hi, thanks for the vid. I got the train in a mode in which the throttle indicator is red. So the train won't budge. I think this happened because I accidentally engaged the emergency brake. Now it appears I have to reset something. Brake pressure looks fine. I looked through the manual to no avail. Due to the hardcore nature of the game, things like this happen all the time, and then you are dead in the water. However, I have to ask, have you ever seen this?

Yea sounds like an emergency lock up. Every train seems to handle it slightly different. Sadly im not sure how to fix it except restart service..
