The scenery here is STUNNING! Hoping for the Dovetail expands more on steam trains, I'd love a Reading & Northern DLC... Maybe I could drive my favorite train R&N 425 with her multitude of whistle combinations. Really gives me hope they can nail the scenery of a theoretical R&N DLC

Growing up 13 blocks away from the Juniata Shops (pronounced June-e-atta), I hope the creators patch the expressway area by the train station. The road is one way traffic headed west. Also hope they finish up the Altoona yard and correct the Railroaders Museum. The yard is missing the transfer table at the tank car shop and the locomotive shop needs the turntable.

I was a Trainmaster on this route for a few years. The route is fairly accurate however the PRR position light signals were replaced with color light signals around 2018. They’ve also included the locomotive cab signals but they don’t seem to function. It be nice if they included the line through Pittsburgh to the Conway Hump Yard

You really have sold me on that rail driver. I currently play on ps4 but I'm migrating to PC for tsw3. Seeing you be able to slightly tweak the dynamic brake with the rail driver allows you to keep view outside still. On console playing with dynamic brake means missing out on view.
@BluGames2 жыл бұрын
Yea thats a huge advantage of using the raildriver. If its in stock, go for it
@jenniferadams75822 жыл бұрын
@@BluGames yeah. I'm glad they are least put some things like sand on a button that I can hold while looking outside. But yeah it also looks like camera operation is a lot better for setting up screenshots on PC and also having that controller while your outside you can look down and see speed and move main controls while still setting up camera with mouse.

Love your channel. Ive been around trains most of my lifetime living here in Ohio. This one is beautiful although I think it starts off a little too fast. Like you, I'm a huge fan of paying attention to detail visuals and sound. I'm not sure if it's due to this is a lighter train but it looks like it starts off from a standstill a little too fast. Also I would like to see it simulate taking up slack, and when slowing down the cars should slack in. Making that banging sound. But all-in-all I love this Sim.

those three yellow lights on the signals represent a bar like a railroad crossing there is a bar blocking the road when it is horizontal that means stop ... vertical means go and on an angle is slow ... basically just like red, yellow and green signal lights, i think the reason back in those days when it was new is yellow sometimes looks like green from far away in certain light conditions so they went with a rotating signal that shows a line ... i dunno 4 sure

My friend you need to set a notch and feather the independent break when flood loading up a grade. Ideally you want to flood load down the grade and just feather the independent brake handle with the possibility of tying hand brakes on some of the head end cars. That’s how we do it in coal country.
