Gotcha, my Wife and I did the exact same thing with our Son now 12 yrs ago. We still have our Lil' Shredders old Specy Push bike and would be glad to gift it to you. I'm local, Baby Dusty will on two wheels ASAP!

Watched this with my wife. So much reminiscing watching you ride this trail. Look forward to more. While you’re there, make sure you hit “The Chutes”. Short little rollercoaster bit of trail, it’s fun. We’re gonna make a video of the day we were out riding there and my wife, Jessica, got bit by a snake in the calf while riding!!! Lucky for you it is too cold for snakes this time of year there, lol. Keep it up!

i went to 50 yr trail and went otb and stuck my hand into a cactus. and also backed into a cactus , putting a small leak in my tubes. good times. not getting spiked by cacti is a good ride in tucson.

I used to love riding the 50 year trail when I lived in Tucson. I more or less learned what I know of mountain biking from it. some day I hope to get back and run the chutes all out.

Rode that several years ago, it looks rougher then I remember it. At that time there were mountain lions in the area, I had a hard time, since I was riding by myself, relaxing and being able to enjoy the ride.

Love 50. Great trail. Used to be my backyard trail. Well represented in your video. You were on a bunch of trails though not just 50. Easy to get "lost" in the ride.

When I moved to Florida I never expected to miss the desert so much. But man, if I could just get back once in a while I can live with being out here. My home town is just 75 miles southeast of Tucson. I'm a bit envious that you get to ride out there right now. Looks like you did this before the cold and snow hit. Stay upright and keep the rubber side down! And get dusty! -Brian

Congratulations on the birth of your daughter, As a Prescott rider I guess I am spoiled that we don't have cactus lining every inch on both side of the trail, same thing for Sedona and Black Canyon I don't think has as much cactus as that trail. Tucson is a cool town, I have only rode one trail there some crazy waterbar hike and ride off the road to Mount Lemmon and I don't want to say that I have heard that mountain biking in Tucson sucks but I after seeing The 50 year trail I know why there are some many road bikers in Tucson. Keep up the good work and hug your daughter every chance you get.

Well done on those climbs, you really didn't lose much of your fitness during your pregnancy. Lil' Dusty is super cute. My daughter is pregnant with my first grandchild and they found out yesterday that it's a little girl. She's due in July and I'm super excited. The only downside is that I live in the UK and she lives near Vancouver in BC. p.s. what bike computer/gps device do you use, Tess?

I want to get back to Tucson and try more trails there. Like you said, you definitely want to stay on the trail as everything that grows wants to impale you lol. Do you have stickers. I would love to trade stickers.

I’ve been biking for 6 months and I live 30min from 50 year, I can do about 60-85 degree rock rolls(somewhere in between) and have tried up to a 3 foot drop and done it successfully. Do you think someone of my skill level could ride the upper part or should I just stay on the lower part?

I have trouble with commitment when I get halfway up stuff like that. I'm fearful of falling backwards. Would be nice to have someone spot me so I can go for it without fear.
