1) You are probably talking about the Bedside Clock Mode icon, which turns on an always on display with clock when you put the smartwatch on the charger 2) Haven’t worked out for me too

Yes, .53 version is much better. Still though the stopwatch is wrong.. Going to fast.. but it will probably be fixed soon also. They even update the firmware on a Saturday which still means they are serious with fixing all functions. Just need to have some patience. Coming week my Chinese version should arrive. Then I'll do the comparison of the different firmwares.

If it is not connecting, go to the bluetooth settings of your device and delete the device if you see HK8 Pro Max there, then reset your smartwatch and then try connecting again! It will connect

You need to test tha smartwatch sensibly first buddy, it can receive call notifications even without bluetooth calling. Bluetooth calling is only needed to accept/reject calls

I have both watches. What I like about the HK is the fact that you can pair the bluetooth audio separately. This is a great feature if you use bluetooth headphones that should be treated as a primary device. With the HW3, I face the issue that the music/video I am listening to or watching on the phone is automatically played on the watch. It's especially annoying if you use Bluetooth headphones and you put them back in the case. You have to manually stop the playback on the watch.
