You guys should stay away from fashionphile. They're ridiculously dishonest. I bought 2 Alma MM brand new from boutique, MIF, for me an daughter. That's the last ones in Feb 2020 recently. Daughter hate it never want it. I have many Alma different sizes so I decided to sell the extra unwanted bought for daughter. Fashionphile offered 1000, spotless, box receipt, dust bag, tag . And a rare to get new. Seem lit they discontinued. Am sure they would sell to customers at least 2500 as LV price now is 2000, not available. Don't feed that company buying used at crazy price sometimes they mark above the LV original price

I would absolutely send this one back. It’s different when there is a mark on the bag - your eye goes straight there. It’s the first thing I noticed when you showed the bag even before you pointed it out. I have both of these bags and love them equally. I think it would be worth it to buy again and once you get the perfect one, then make the decision how you feel about the bag. I think all the flaws have affected your decision about the bag in general. This bag is amazing in general but especially on rainy days.

I’m so sad you’ve had so many issues finding the perfect bag. I bought my Speedy B 25 in the DE canvas in London last year and love it so much. It’s truly one of my favorite bags. Maybe you should just wait for the boutiques to fully open and inspect them in person before you purchase. ☹️

The dustcover is definitely much older than the bag! The Speedy Strap only comes with a dustcover if your CA gives you one as a special touch. Maybe the DE Speedy isn’t for you! Have considered the Alma bb in ebene? It’s gorgeous, usually made in France, and all weather for sure. Good luck doll 👍🏼🍀💗

Good for you for returning it. Especially paying basically full price for it being pre-loved. My first PM bag has three TIIIIIINNY black dots on the top handle vachetta. I was so excited to open it and my smile immediately fell off my face when first thing I noticed was one of the dots. The other two really were difficult to "see" but after inspecting the handle up close I found them. But the largest one, even though small, was the first thing my eye saw when I flipped over the dust bag and was so disappointed. I had posted pics on a website to ask fellow LV lovers whether I should exchange and 90% said it's "not noticeable" and I'm "being picky"..."this is nothing compared what will happen to the vachetta over time". Well, I exchanged it and the second one was perfect. I know I would've been annoyed every single time I would look down at my bag. Like you said, it's that initial feeling you get upon opening it. And for over $2,100...a bag should be perfect until you yourself gets any imperfections on it.

You are not too picky! I would absolutely send it back! The dust bag is for the strap. Sometimes if you ask, and they have one, they will give a dust bag for the strap. Love the classic speedy and how adorable your daughter loves it!❤️

I agreed with you. I think it’s totally right to be picky as you are buying luxurious good that costs a lot, so the presentation and service should be equal to the price. I support you to return it. I had to return a hard to find item because I found one square mark inside the pouch (mono Kirigami set), most people probably won’t care as no one can see, but it just bothers me that the item is not perfect and I kept checking on the mark every time I see that pouch. So I ended up returning it, it’s a tough decision...

No contest, the monogram all the way!!! I’ve never been one to want a Speedy, although I appreciate their heritage and I think they look great on others....but now you got me thinking...do I need a Speedy monogram??!! 😉. Fashionphile should have a rating that’s between Excellent and Very Good....that mark is pretty darn obvious, and therefore the bag is nowhere near “Excellent.” I think most people would pay the extra $50 for a brand new one with no mark. Love that your daughter had such positive reaction to the monogram one. Win, win!! Enjoy! 💗

That mark may be from the LV factory. Got a speedy DE classic a few years ago and it came with a white (un removable) mark. It was a gift from my Mom and was younger then, and wasn’t sure if it could be returned or anything. It doesn’t bother me now lol.

Yep, I spotted it right away! I am so sorry you have so much trouble with the Speedy B 25 in DE! Hard question whether to return or keep. If you have energy to still search send it back. On the other hand, you did tell us that you might only keep one Speedy, not two. Your daughter's reaction is so cute and funny! Maybe therefore try to find the perfect DE Speedy version once again, since then you can use that more (than the classic) to keep the classic one in perfect condition for your daughter! I had the gorgeous old version speedy B 30 in DB with the shiny leather and puffy chaps. It did not come with the small dust bag and after I sold it, the buyer said they would go into LV to ask for a dust bag for the straps. I have never purchased from Fashionpile before (not from America) but hope you can successfully return it!

That is a rub mark. My DE speedy was purchased in 2009 in Paris and it also has that mark from rubbing :( but I will never get rid of it because it was my first LV bag AND from Paris Champs-Elysees flagship store :)

Yeah, the mark on the front was very noticeable, I’m sorry to say. At first I thought the canvas was sliced. I’ll bet it was a pen mark as they were packing. I don’t know why marks are so hard to get off of these. I recently saw a dot on the bottom of mine, and it won’t come off. You have definitely tried to reach purse peace ☮️ I love the classic from yesterday.

I have both the DE and Mono Speedy 25 bandoliers and they are my fav! I have the 30 speedy as well (I l❤️VE the speedy ). But for paying near close to retail, I would def return this due to the mark. I purchased a speedy nano from fashionphile and the second I unboxed it , it reeked like cigarette smoke...I mean like the bag was drenched in it. It stunk up my room. I was so disappointed as fashionphile made absolute no mention of an odor . There was no way someone didn’t smell the smoke odor. Needless to say I packed it right back up and sent it back. We pay way too much !! A week later my SA found the speedy nano for me in a New York boutique so I ended up purchasing it brand new. But I would def send it back! PS try this bag out though ( one without the mark!) you may end up loving it. The strap does soften up and it really is SOOO carefree and it looks amazing with fall outfits.

I wonder if you would prefer the speedy 25 in DE in the classic style like the monogram ? Maybe order a classic 25 and see how you like it , I think if it’s listed in excellent condition and you paid nearly retail , it should not have any black scuff marks on it ! There is something about the look of the classic speedy 25 monogram next to the other one that is preferable ! I get it ! The zipper alone looks so solid compared to the speedy b 25 in DE . I feel the same about my bags right now . Im happy with all I have , super Grateful and not craving any other bags myself ! Not saying that won’t change , but for now I feel content ! I would return that too. I have a speedy B 25 DE from 2012, it's my favorite bag. It was $1050 before taxes. That is the old style dust bag, the ones the come with the brown boxes... consider it vintage

If you like the shiny leather I wouldn’t deter from buying new from the website or boutique! I bought my speedy from the boutique last year and the handles were matte, but with use it’s definitely become shinier. I’ve also conditioned it as a routine clean and the matte finish is not there anymore 🤷🏻‍♀️ worth a shot!

OMG, I am so happy to hear that someone is as picky as me with my bag purchases. I have returned/exchanged all of my bags at least once because of defects that I see with my "eagle eyes"! I was able to get my hands on mini pochettes in the damier ebene and monogram, buy haven't received them yet and I'm already stressed that I will find flaws on them because they are so hard to get and probably won't be able to just exchange them. So I've already come to terms that I will either have to accept the flaws I find if not too bad or not noticeable to normal who are not crazy picky like I am.

I would return- i would go in store - try the Neiman Marcus LV boutiques or just the stores- if you are going to pay close to full retail for the bag, I would see it in person to inspect, most of the time they have more in the back.

The dust bag that came with that that is something that the sales representative at the Louis Vuitton store they actually as a courtesy they’ll give you that to put your strap in but it’s only people that purchase a lot and have a good following with her sa I had one too !! ♥️♥️ yes I cant believe the mark😱😢😢😢😢 return for sure !! Kinda binging your vids LOL But that little dust bag issue happened to me as well!! I bought a Gucci purse from Fashionphile and the listing said it came w/a dustbag. When I received it, the dustbag came IN the purse and definitely did not belong to the bag. Wondering if this is something Fashionphile does on the regular now. I ended up complaining about the listing and they sent me another Gucci dustbag, free, that did fit my bag but clearly (they said it was an extra one themselves) did not belong to the bag.

I noticed with my finger a ever so tiny raised bump on the chap of on my speedy b25 . It is a tiny thread (used my magnify app 😉)sticking up, out of the chap stitching. I don’t think it is a problem. But I’m so ocd at times. 😏. It is so tiny you can’t see it without magnifying it. What do you think? I just don’t know. Everything else is “perfect.” My only concern would be, will it loosen the chap...then handle...? Am I’m overthinking this? Thank you 🙏🏼 I love my Speedy.

I can appreciate the functionality of the bandoulière version but I like using it as a top handle bag. The monogram one you have looks great. There is just something classic about it.

Hi, I love watching your videos. I don’t think you are being picky. You are spot on. I believe that mark on the bag might be a puncture. I bought one from Fashionphile with a mark like that and the more I looked at it the more it looked like a puncture. Look at it from the inside with your light coming through where the mark is. The bag I bought was. Totally MM in DE. The small dust bag is from around 2004-2006. I have an older LV that came with the same material dust bag. 😊

Yes the return process is smooth and easy. It takes about a week to arrive at the Fashionphile returns center and then they issue a refund within 3-5 days or so of receipt.

I think you should to return the DE bag & wait until you can get one from the LV boutique in person where you can be sure it’s definitely your bag. I had the same bag....but the tiny dust bag isn’t normal. Even the dust bag for the lock and key isn’t that big. Is it real tho? Have you checked to make sure the date code and what it says on the leather match? I’ve seen FASHIONPHILE listing that says “made in France” on the tag but the date code didn’t indicate made in France. Once in a while I order things from places like fashionphile or YC that’s fake. Yup date code matches but the odd thing is, Fashionphile says it’s a 2014 bag but I thought the puffy chaps weren’t introduced until 2015. Either way, it’s going back!!

Personally I love the DE Bandolier: it’s a great mom bag as well as travel bag (not that any of us are going anywhere anytime soon)...but ONE DAY-we will proceed with travel & this little bag will come in handy! Fashionphile really dropped the ball here...I don’t blame you for being undwerwelmed.

I find speedy very ordinary, to be honest I would never pay even AUD300, considering how every other person carried it and it’s just too slouchy for what it is even for me that I don’t like structured bags. I think you should just wait and go to actual LV boutique and choose the best, considering you are paying that much. You should get what you pay for. Good luck💕
