My grandparents originated from this area in Germany. My parents moved abroad but I was fascinated with Roman history since I was little. I've spent the last 5 months here in Germany with my extended family and Trier is wonderful to see by foot in any season. More interestingly: how do you manage to go on a flight trip from Trier? I think it takes 2.5-3h with public transportation to go to FFM. Might be longer than the flight itself.
